Hey, just wondering if you might be free for lunch or a cuppa?

Kaia jumped when her phone buzzed. She was sitting at the kitchen table going over her schedule for the next few weeks. She had been invited to sing at the Grammy's and Simon wanted her back in the studio soon. She was trying to figure too when Marian was going to give birth to Faith. She was due at the beginning of March and it was now the beginning of February. She picked up her phone and was more than a little surprised to see who the text was from. She hadn't heard from him for a while. They texted every once in a while just mainly to see how the other one was. She knew that he had met with Harry and that things had gone fairly well but neither one had told her what had been said.

Sure, how about tomorrow about 1?

Sounds good. TeaTime in the East End?

One of my favorite places. See you tomorrow, Lou.

She got up from the table and went in search of her husband who was in his art room with the twins. It was their daily routine that they had. The three of them would spend the afternoon drawing together. Karim was down for his nap. She smiled as she watched them.

"We're going to have to buy a museum to put all of your artwork in pretty soon," she teased.

Zayn looked up at her and smiled. "Funny," he teased.

She moved and sat down on the couch and smiled at their children. "Louis just texted me."

"Oh," Zayn said with an arch of his eyebrow. "What did he want?"

"He asked me to lunch and I said I would."

"Wow, you and Tommo, having lunch. Being friends," he couldn't help but tease her.

"Shut up," she said with a laugh. "I think he needs to know that he still has friends."

"You're right," he said with a smile.

"Doesn't mean I'm still not worried about Marian finding out that he's back in London."

Zayn moved to sit down next to her and he pulled her close. "I know," he said. "Part of me still says we tell her, but with her pregnancy, I just don't know."

She put her head on his shoulder and sighed heavily. "I just don't know either anymore."

The next day......................

Kaia parked her car and wrapped her coat tighter against her. It was very cold and windy, even for London. She hurried inside of TeaTime and smiled when she saw Louis sitting at a back table by a window.

Louis looked up from the paper he was reading and smiled when he saw Kaia. He stood up and when she got to the table he gave her a hug. "Hi," he said.

"Hi yourself, Tommo," she said hugging him back and then took off her coat and sat down. She looked up when a waitress brought her a steaming cup of tea.

"It's your favorite," Louis said with a wink.

"Thanks," she said and wrapped her hands around the cup. "So, how was I lucky enough to garner a lunch invitation?"

"I'm heading up to my mum's and I just wanted to catch up. See how you have been doing."

"Lou, come on. I'm not some nieve girl," she said. "Tell me what's going on in your head. Are you still following her?"

"I didn't mean for you to see me that day," he said. "I...I just wanted to see her."

"Lou...."

The waitress came back to the table and before Kaia could open her mouth, Louis ordered lunch for them both.
