We all know that confined group of people who are avoided at all costs at any social event because, if you start a conversation with them about their favorite television show or anything Tumblr related, they will never stop talking until they are fully convinced that you have turned into one of them. This group of awesome people are nicknamed "fangirls". I too was a fangirl. Sill am in fact, except I'm totally badass now. But, we'll get to that later.
I'm going to take you back to the beginning of my story, the very beginning. On the date of September 28, 1994, a 7.5lbs baby girl came into this world and her parents, glowing with happiness, named her Elise. That's Me! After a couple of years my mother sat me down in my high chair amongst all of the intense action of her absolutly favorite movie "Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back". I grew up on shows like that. All i ever knew was the vast possiblities that await you when you open a book or watch a movie.
Sadly, because of my upbringing, I was seen as a geek or nerd at school. Once I entered high school, I had fully emerged myself into the the world of fiction. Harry Potter taught me bravery and morals. Doctor Who taught me to treat those that I care about like it's the last time I will ever see them, because it just might be. And my absolute favorite, Supernatural, taught me the meaning of family and that no matter what, family comes first.
The only thing that I wanted more than life itself, was to be part of their world. Fighting evil, going on adventures, saving the world. You know, the good stuff. But, sadly that was not possible and just knowing that made me want to curl up into a ball and never leave what little connection to their world I had.
