When Bellantherna, a strong warrior, was exploring the beautiful area of Mac'Aree on Argus, she stubbled across an almost invisible cave entrance. The rocks were a deep blue which were nearly painted black by the shadows from the cliff over the cave entrance. As the young Draenei stepped into the cave, she was surprised by how well lit the cave was as the moss and fungi had a strange glow emanating from it all. The young Draenei was busy exploring the cave that she did not notice a large beast enter the cave, when the creature gave a low growl then the warrior was alerted to the large presence in the cave.

As Bellantherna slowly turned around, she recognized the great Panthera as Kaara the Pale, an elite creature in the Mac'Aree and she was not to be taken lightly. Quick on her hooves and with a mighty shout, the Battlelord was the first to strike.

The fight grew tiring and seemed to drag on for years yet only a few hours, but before the Battlelord could believe it the fight had ended with the mighty Panthera was slain. As Bellantherna took her loot, she noticed something that was hidden very well but not well enough. Quickly glancing back at the fallen Panthera to make sure she was truly defeated, she turned her sight towards the object she had seen. As the Draenei grab the objected and dusted it off, she noticed that it seemed to be... and egg? Bellantherna quickly ran outside the cave to make sure that it truly was what she thought it was. The egg turned out to be a Fel-Spotted Egg! Bellantherna had heard from some folks in Dalaran that the egg hatches after five whole days.

The Battlelord remembered that not many others had much luck with these eggs, but these eggs are special as when they hatch, you could get a special mount called the Mana Ray or you could get a little companion pet Mana Ray, or as the not so luck few have received an aged yolk. Bellantherna, with a look of determination, hoped that luck and her ancestors would be on her side.

After the five days had passed, Bellantherna had set up camp for the night. Her excitement couldn't be contained any longer and as soon as the egg broke open, her face went from shock to a sudden realization to pure happiness because the young warrior was looking at the Vibrant Mana Ray. With a sigh of relief, the warrior patted the mana ray on the head and let herself rest for the night.
