"I have a mission for you two." Sarutobi said and immediately the two wood-style users listened intently. "Your mission is...to check on a village where two Akatsuki members where spotted." He said in a serious tone.

"Have we got any information about their identity?" Tenzo asked. Naki was concerned about this mission but, as usual, she didn't show it. Akatsuki was a dangerous organisation that consisted of S Rank criminals.

"I'm afraid that all we know is that two people were spotted, wearing black cloaks covered in red clouds." Hiruzen responded. "It takes approximately 3 hours to get to the village." Sarutobi added after a moment. "Now go and prepare yourselves, you two will go first and I will send some backup later." He stated.

Naki and Tenzo bowed and left immediately. "I can train you on the way, it'd be useful if we'll have to confront them." Tenzo said. The young kunoichi nodded and the two headed their own ways to prepare for the mission.

Once they were ready, the two wood-style users set off from the main gate. Tenzo dressed into normal ninja attire so that he wouldn't stand out too much.

The two jumped through the treetops. Naki averted her gaze towards Tenzo and a smirk appeared on her face. The Anbu seemed to notice this. "Is there a reason that smirk is plastered on your face?" He asked whilst he continued to make his way towards the village.

"Not at all." The young Akimichi  responded as she tried to contain her laughter. Tenzo wasn't pleased with the answer but he tried to ignore her behaviour. About 20 minutes have passed and Tenzo had enough. He stopped and so did his companion.

He turned towards Naki. "What's so funny?" He asked in a stern voice. Naki looked at him and couldn't contain her laughter any longer. She held her stomach whilst laughing.

"Y-you l-look l-like a-a m-monkey!" She said between laughs. Tenzo's face turned bright red. He took his headband of in a fluster. In the meantime Naki stopped laughing.

She looked at Tenzo and saw how embarrassed he got. "Hey you don't need to get so worked up." Naki stated calmly as she approached Tenzo. He turned around in the opposite direction. "Is everything ok?" She asked once again as she walked up to him even closer. Suddenly he turned around, wearing his headband. He had the creepiest look on his face.

Naki fell over and her eyes widened, she tried to hide her shock and slight fear. A single droplet of sweat formed on her forehead. The Anbu started walking towards her, his facial expression not wavering even a slightest bit.

The young Akimichi backed up in till her back was pressed against the tree, which the two were currently standing on. She had no where to go. Naki didn't know what happened to Tenzo. He reached her and slowly leaned towards her.

"Who's getting worked up now eh?" He asked in a creepy voice before bursting out with laughter. Naki realised that he scared her to get revenge. "Haha you should have seen your face." He continued laughing.

Naki stood up and crossed her arms across her chest, averting her gaze to the side. "Tch." Was her only response. She walked up to Tenzo and punched him in the arm.

"Ouch!" He exclaimed holding his arm as Naki used a little too much force. The kunoichi smiled triumphantly. "Okay, okay I get it, I'm sorry." Tenzo said as he placed his hand on Naki's shoulder. She looked up at him before averting her gaze.

"Sorry for calling you a monkey..." She stated in a almost inaudible voice. Tenzo heard her clearly and smiled.

"You know monkey's have good ears and hear well." The more experienced wood-style user stated with a smile as he jumped onto the next tree branch, leaving a flustered Akimichi behind.

She immediately composed herself and caught up to her monkey-faced companion...

-Time Skip-

After another hour of running has passed, the two wood-style users stopped for a small break.

"Alright I think this is a perfect opportunity to teach you." Tenzo stated whilst stretching. The young kunoichi nodded and  walked up to Tenzo. "Ok listen carefully, the key hand sign for wood-style techniques is the snake hand sign." The Anbu explained as he demonstrated the hand sign. Naki nodded to show she was listening.

"To successfully do a wood-style jutsu you must concentrate your water nature in one hand, and you earth nature in your other hand." Tenzo continued as he showed up both of his hands. "...then you join those nature's together and..." The wood-style user joined his hands making the snake hand sign before touching the ground. A huge tree sprouted instantly.

"Impressive." Naki complemented with a slight smirk. Tenzo looked at her and nodded, giving her permission to try it out herself.

Naki followed his instructions and placed her hand on the ground...
