Henry stormed through  Windsor Castle Garden as his treacherous wife attempted to stop him from leaving. "You lied to me. You were not what you seemed." Anne cries out for Henry to have mercy on her. "If not me, then for Elizabeth." Henry wanted to laugh at the irony. "How do I even know she is mine?" Anne felt a her heart crumble at the thought of Henry punishing their little girl for the lies her enemies made against her. "Henry, Elizabeth is your daughter." The King came to a halt. "She is the bastard daughter of Sir Norris." Anne resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "It is a lie, Henry. Charles has beguiled you into believing those charges to be real."

Henry ignores her claims and continues to walk on, with Anne and Elizabeth right behind him. "Charles did not beguile me Anne, you did. From the first day I met you, it was all a lie. Your Father and Uncle used you to get to me. You played with my mind and tricked me into marrying you so your family could reap the benefits." Once again he came to another unpredicted pause to face his wife. "None of that matters now. No, you will pay for the pain you have brought upon myself and England with your life. Then I shall be free to marry my beloved Jane." With that Anne pushes her way in front of her husband.

Dropping to her knees, cuddling her child close and staring deep into Henry's eyes she begins to plead. "You mustn't order my death Henry. What will you tell our Elizabeth once she has grown?" Henry forced his face away from the scene, unable to gaze upon the small child he claimed these last two and half years. "You need not kill me, i'll grant you whatever you wish, if you allow me to live. Please, Henry do not make our Elizabeth motherless. " Anne was now at his feet, child in hand, begging for her life. Henry no longer able to look away, faced his wife and child. "You will grant me a peaceful annulment. Leave court and never return, unless upon my wishes?"

Anne remained silent on her knees, comtemplating what she was about to do. Was this her only option to keep her daughter safe? Would she be able to live on, knowing that the man she loved with all her being, was marrying another. Could she truely stop fighting after so long? "Yes." With that one word she changed not only her life, but multiple lives around her.
