My diary on my desk is a daily reminder for me to how much the world has changed. In just ten years time the world has gone from almost peaceful to World War 3.
It has gone from a place filled with people who cared for each other and treated each other equaly into a place filled with nothing but hatred and war.
That's right, it is no longer a place any human being would like to live in who at least has one percent of humanity in their soul, but since there's not such a thing as "humanity" anymore, it is instead full of emotionless creatures.
Nothing but moving, talking, fighting creatures.
I wouldn't consider myself one of them, otherwise I wouldn't be writing all of this down right now.
I have emotions, I indeed have way too many of them.
If I would be one of those creatures, I'd be praising the place I live in right now. I would praise the "land of God" Great Britain right now and wouldn't even be thinking about such things like diversity or the feeling I have that women and men have the same worth. Men aren't any more worthy than women are. I've lived at a time where once it was this way, when I was like ten.
But I have to admit that now I know what Medieval must have been like, it's like Medieval right now except for the fact that we have technology and use guns instead of swords and way too many of them. Just yesterday I saw two women being shot just because they said that they deserved the same salary and the same working conditions as men.
Trust me, you don't want to walk in my shoes and truth is I don't want to either.
