Chapter Eight- Returning back

It's been two weeks since Sesshomaru came for me. We haven't found a way back. I've slowly lost hope. I won't see Rin or Kagome again. I'm sitting in my room on bed with my knees to my chest. Since Sesshomaru is a demon and this is the modern time, he has to wear human clothes, which he hates. I buried my head in my knees. I began to cry a little. I don't know why I'm so upset. They're in their own time living their normal lives. Then I came in and ruined everything. Their lives were fine without me. Now I'm in danger and have Sesshomaru wasting his time on me. I felt so stupid and scared. Stupid for even falling down that damn well and scared for putting myself in the hands of Naraku. What am I going to do? What's going happen to me and the others?" Lily." I jumped up and looked up. I saw Sesshomaru standing in the middle of the room. I sighed in relief and gave him a weak smile." Hey Sesshomaru-!" He interrupted me." Don't worry." I blinked and stared at him." W-what do you-?" He stopped me again." You've been crying. You must be worried about going back. And seeing your human friend." I looked down. He's right. I am worried. But I've always thought that having a normal life would be good but being with Sesshomaru....it makes it." I just....miss them. I miss Rin. The Feudal Era makes it better. My life here was nothing. But now.....it makes me feel loved and wanted." I explained. I looked at Sesshomaru. His eyes cold yet gentle and caring. I could tell he missed Rin and was worried for her. He nodded. I screamed when I felt myself being picked up. I blushed as Sesshomaru hugged me close." Don't worry. Just stay close to me." He whispered. I blushed more and more as I hugged him. I buried my head in his chest and shoulder. He felt so warm. I slowly started to fall asleep.

Sesshomaru's p.o.v.
I looked down at Lily as we landed on the ground. She looked so peaceful. Yet so scared. He started to whimper and mutter things in her sleep." P-please....s-stop....help.....S-Sesshomaru." My eyes widened as i stared at her shaking form. She gripped my kimono as if her life depended on it." S-stay away......Naraku." My eyes darkened and I hugged her closer to me. She woke with a jump. She looked at me. She hugged me and hid her face in her shoulder." Lily what were you dreaming of?" I demanded more than I asked. She flinched. She didn't answer." Lily." I demanded." Naraku.....h-he....did things.....to me..." She whimpered. I growled." What did he do?" I demanded." He......raped....m-me...." She mumbled, whimpering and hugging me. I growled and I could feel my nails becoming linger and my teeth becoming sharper. She whimpered loudly and clutched onto me." S-Sesshomaru! Y-you're hurting me!" My eyes widened and I looked down. My nails were into her skin. I released her and hugged her." Listen to me. I will not going to let him anywhere near you. If he touches you, he's dead." She nodded and held onto me. Just the thought of Naraku made me so pissed that I hurt Lily. She was so scared. I promised to protect her and that's what I'm going to do. Suddenly, the half breeds girlfriend comes out from the well." Let's go!" She said. I nodded and jumped down after her with Lily in my arms. We finally returned home and Rin and Jaken were worried. Rin kept hugging Lily." Rin, let Lily rest." She nodded and went to play with the flowers. Lily snuggled into my tail." I'm scared to rest..." She said. I knew why. I wrapped an arm around her and let her sleep on my chest. She fell asleep soon after. I will not let Naraku look at her. Why am I so protective over this human? I've thought about this over and over again. And it's simple.
