Chapter 1

It is the first day for Karthik at work in Udaipur, he has come to give some files to Akshara who is at home.
"Aunty aap Akshara ma'am hai? Mujhe pata hi nahi tha. Kaise ho app ab?" Karthik asks seeing akshara there. "Haan sab teek hai beta. Tume yahan kaise lag raha hai?" She asks. "All good aunty I mean ma'am." He says and akshara says "Aunty hi teek hai." He gives her the file and is talking with her when Naksh and Gayu come. They get introduced and start talking. They are interrupted by a voice "Mendak ki bachee. Tum yahan hai aur mujhe bataya bhi nahi. Tume toh." Karthik runs and takes cover behind Akshara. "I did not know. I swear. Aur kaam main busy tha yaar. Varna socho yeh Mendak, Sherni ko gussa karega kya?" He says. "Woh bhi teek hai. Acha phone do mujhe Champ se baat karni hai. Mera phone nahi chal raha hai. Woh gussa main hai kya?" She says and grabs his phone and dials a number. "Thoda gussa hai woh. Bandar bahut gussa hai, bol raha tha ki tujse baat nahi karega. Tu kaisi hai?" Karthik asks and stands next to her. She gives him a thumbs up and talks on the phone "Hello Champ! Sorry bacha. Nahi karungi. Haan tera maamu mujhe dant liya. Haan bacha. Champ Bandar hai kya wahan? Nahi baat karega ka kya matlab?" They could hear only Naira's side of the talk. "Speaker pe daal main baat karonga." Karthik says and she nods. "Bandar, baat karle mere bhai. I'm sorry na. Iss mendak ne mujhe bejh diya, main anna hi nahi chathi." Naira tells. "Haan pata hai. Mujhe iss baat se gussa hai ki tune phone nahi kiya. Main tumara ek lotha bhai hoon aur tune mujhe bhool gayi." Shubam says. "Phone karab tha yaar. Ab ham teek hai? Chalo mujhe kahi baat karni hai. Karthik mere room se leke jao jathe waqt main jaa rahi hoon. Bye Mendak." She says and walks to her room. "Sherni phone.." he starts off but stops looking at the faces of the Singhania. "You know Naira?" "You convinced her to come here?" "Who are they? Why did that guy call himself her bhai. Main hoon uski bhai." All of them question him at once. "Usse main 8 saal se jantha hoon. Haan maine usse convince kiya sirf issliye kyunki mujhe lagta hai ki aap log ki side bhi hogi. Woh mera bhai hai aur unn dono best friends hai. Isse zyadha aap ko Naira se hi pochna padega. Main meri phone lekar chalthi hoon. Uski room kahan hai?" Karthik finishes in a breath so that no one interrupt. Gayu points at the room and Karthik leaves. "Naira mujhse baat nahi karthi par uss se karthi hai." Naksh sulks and looks as Karthik enters Naira's room.
