You weren't there when I needed you most
You were nothing but a ghost
But now after 17 years
You come to me with your little tears
Calling me
Saying you're so proud of me
Now I'm calling you out on all your B.S
And getting everything off my chest
How do you walk into a child's life after so much time
And expect to be excepted at the drop of a dime
Yous say you're so proud of me
But you don't know the first thing about me
What's my favorite book, song color, or food
Do you even know how to determine my mood?
You say you consider it an honor to be my father
But you were in my life less than my mother
Now I have one question for you,
And I hope your answer is true.
Do you really care about me
Or are you just trying not to feel guilty?
