Morning rays of sunshine passed through my room's big window, has it lightened up my face, waking me up in the process.
I groaned in response ,turning the other way around searching for the warmth and safe embrace of my husband, but instead I was met with the cold instead.
Opening my eyes I realized that the space beside me where he usually was, now it was empty and lonely.
Sighting I sat up on the bed. Work...
He always ditched me for his work. Why? Didn't I make him happy? Question's swirled inside my head, making me dizzy already. Great....How can he expect me to be happy with this life?
No honeymoon whatsoever and to top it, he had inherited his father business straight away when we got married and he didn't stand up against his father and say no...
"He's tired my love...Let me do this for him just once"
Yeah right....waking up alone in the morning, him arriving early in the morning and leaving 3-5 hours later not even resting properly, no time for our self's...and it goes on and on..the timeless list of thing's that have been in our way of being together.
"No...Leya think positive, I can't be negative. He's my life, my everything I can't let this destroy what we have." That little voice that has been with me for so long ringed in my mind, relaxing my tensed muscles.
Getting off the bed, I turned my attention to the trees outside on my garden. Watching how it danced swiftly with the wind's embrace, the birds happily singing and doing what they had to do on spring.
My mind was at peace while I admired the beauty of nature, feeling it's pull towards it.
"Morning my love" A soft, manly voice coming from the doorway of the room said, has I turned around smiling.
My heart jumped happily in my chest and my cheeks started to flush, no matter what even if I was used to him and all of him, it always felt like the first time when I met him.
He's got that tanned skin Adonis look going on,He had tousled dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous. His eyes were a mesmerizing deep ocean blue, flecks of silvery light performed ballets throughout. His face was strong and defined, his features molded from granite.
He had dark eye brows, which sloped downwards in a serious expression. His usually playful smile had drawn into a hard line across his face. His perfect lips ripe for the kissing it all made me weak at the knees. He has the heart of a lion and the soul of an angel. He's a fair few inches taller than me, which I like. He's slim, muscular, with an almost perfectly symmetrical face.
Everyone loves him, they're drawn to him. I see it in the way they hang on his words and reciprocate his smile so quickly. They want to be close to him just like I do. If he wanted to he could have more friends than hours in the day, but for the most part he just wanted me and for that I feel truly honored.
He could have had almost anyone, he could have had someone with a bigger bust, a smaller waist, blonde hair and more self-confidence. He still could, men don't age as fast as women do they?
I ran to him and jumped to his embrace, he wasn't surprised at all for my sudden action has we have been together for 20 years and married 10.
His strong hands, slightly rough from working, held me on the embrace, I looked up to his eyes has he stared deep into my eyes. I couldn't help but blush again. He knew me so well to,more than anybody in my all life..My Xavier.
His smile etched its way back into his face. His body was warm and toned as he hugged me, comforting to the touch. His voice was deep, with an serious tone. His lips brushed my ear as he spoke, "How's my angel?"
