My POV
When I woke up Niall had his arm protectively around my belly and his head on my shoulder. "Ni" I whispered. He lifted his head a little and barely opened his eyes. "Yeah baby?" He asked moving his hand. "I just needed you to move so I could go pee" I smirked. "Well mission accomplished. Let's get dressed and ready, then we can go to the mall" He suggested. "Okay" I smiled. After I had gone to the bathroom and got dressed I stared at myself in the mirror. My belly looked and felt different than usual. It was bigger, but that happened a lot. "Ni? Can you come here?" I asked him. He came into the bathroom and looked at me in the mirror. "Does my belly look different to you?" I asked. "It's lower" He put his arms around me and his hands under belly. "Yeah. It's lower. I don't usually have to bend to reach the bottom" He said. "Oh. That makes sense why it's more uncomfortable" I put my hands under my belly to help support it. "You still want to go shopping today?" He asked. "Yeah" I smiled at him. I felt my two little ones kicking again.
When we got to the store, Niall suggested we go to the baby store. He started to walk a little faster than me, then turned his attention to ice cream, then to pretzels. "Hey! Slow down Mr. My-legs-are-longer-than-my-attention-span" I was slowly waddling behind him. "Sorry love" He grabbed my hand so we could stay at the same pace. "I can't walk very fast anymore" I said, putting my hand under my belly. "I should have remembered that" Niall said, directing me into the Babies R US. "We need a second car seat, and more diapers. The crib can be ordered online" I told him. "I know love. You told me about 8 times yesterday" Niall smirked. "Can I push the cart?" I asked. "Sure" Niall handed it over to me. While Niall was with the man getting our car seat off the high shelf I leaned down into the cart, feeling dizzy and out of breath. I had pains shooting through my back. "Morgan? Are you okay?" He asked. I felt Niall's hands freezing on my back. "You're burning up" He said, rubbing my back. I swallowed hard and stood up straight, grabbing onto him. "I'm dizzy and I can't breath" I told him, trying to take deep breaths. "Deep breaths love" He rubbed my back that helped to ease some of the pain. I stood up and let go of Niall. "I think I'm okay now" I took a deep breath through my nose. "Can we hurry this along?" Niall asked the worker. "Of course" He quickly got the car seat off the shelf. Niall grabbed diapers off the shelf as we passed. We checked out quickly and I sat in the car as Niall put things in the car. "Let's go to the hospital and make sure everything is okay" Niall said.Niall's POV
Morgan looked at me with panic in her eyes. "I need to know if our babies are okay Morgan" I was not taking no for an answer. The entire way to the hospital I could hear her heavy breathing. "Are you still dizzy?" I asked her. "No. Just can't really breathe" Morgan was holding her chest. When we pulled into the parking lot I went around to her door to help her walk in. Nurses almost immediately started trying to take her away from me. "Niall!" She yelled, but they kept dragging her away. I saw her start to crumble and continue yelling my name. "Hey! Do NOT be rough with her!" I yelled. As I pushed to the front I saw a nurse giving her a shot and she passed out. "What was that?" I asked. "It was a sedative. It won't harm the baby. She just might be a bit nauseous when she wakes in a few hours. You can follow us while she get set up" The nurse said. Morgan was put on a bed and rolled into a room. A new nurse put a breathing tube around her nose and a heart monitor on her chest, then one on her belly. "She's having twins" I said. "That makes sense" She smiled and put another belly heart monitor on. She then put in an IV. "This is just to help her nausea when she wakes, which should be soon. Just press the call button when she wakes" The nurse smiled then left the room. I watched my wife sleep and her chest rise, as she no longer struggled to breath. The oxygen tubes made her look even more fragile than she already was.
