It all started with my first day at a new school, I thought that meeting new friends was going to be exciting but like the elder people say "there is a limit to everything," and especially to friends. The biggest mistake I made in my life was when I started to listen to my friends and it led me to things I never expected.
It was a normal day at school, when I met Tina, Erin and Zoe, they were all so nice. We talked all the time and then I started to get closer with them and found ways to socialise. They then asked me to make an account on a website called ask.fm, I was very clumsy at the time and asked them to make it for me, they then gave the details to me and I started to using my account regularly after school. For some reason, they had made it public, but for a couple of days that didn't bother me, until I realised that all three of them had stopped coming to school and were not going on ask.fm either.Then, I realised that as my account was public before I knew it there more than hundreds of people following me and I did'nt even know, they could also speak on anon so you did'nt know who it was coming from.
This tortured me day after day, I soon started getting uncomfortable messages and my personal details were being displayed all over ask.fm, on other people's users too. However, one day on anon someone posted a picture of a naked girl and told me that I was going to get raped, either on the way to school or the way back, and that if I dared to tell the police, my parents' lives would be at risk. That very day I cried myself to sleep and the next day I went to school, there was no sign of Tina, Erin or Zoe.
At the end of the day as soon as I had stepped my foot outside of the school gates, I felt like every bone in my body had turned cold, so I walked quicker and quicker making my way home, also seeing 2 policeman scared me, as I was walking I got caught of Tina, Erin and Zoe walking along a short road by the local hiking forest. I ran over to them to ask why they did this, but before I could ask anything they pulled me over and shoved me to a group of boys, my heart thuddered. The boys shoved me into a public toilet and striped me, another boy took pictures of me half naked as I writhed to be set free. My arms were pushed down hard on the plastic floor, as I tried to escape, a policeman got caught of what had happened and ran over with his colleague. Before they could get over the whole group sprinted away and I didn't think it was possible to catch with them.
I took my blazer and layed it over my weak body. Everything that happened after that, all just seemed to be a blur, but I was in hospital for 3 weeks with a broken arm, a broken leg, a stiched lip and a bruised head. The police came to find me at my house after the recovery was over, I explained how it started and there was lots of signatures and papers, I also described Tina, Erin and Zoe to them. 4 days later they were found in a pub's disco, they got punished and have been sentenced.
Eventhough they have got punished for what have done the world still feels dark and full of misery. As what had to be done is done but I don't think my llife will ever get better than it was with the injuries that spare. The world is huge sometimes there is light, sometimes there is darkness but like the elderly people say "there is a limit to everything," and sometimes when the world goes too dark there is no going back, and that is what has happened to me, don't let the limit slip and make it happen to you...
