Awoken Death

Chapter 3

She led me into the living room and I saw a small group of people. They all looked about my age or slightly older. One of the girls stood up. She had long light brown hair and dark brown eyes.
" Hi, my names Olivia," she began. "That's Jack,Sabrina,Trey,and Griffin,"she explained pointing to each one of them. " Uh, hi my names Claire," I nervously said.
" Yeah we know your Aunt has told us all about you." Olivia happily stated.
"Claire I asked them to come today ,because their all different like you. They each have something about them that makes them special."
"Yeah, like I can teleport," Olivia said. She then jumped up and disappeared right in front of me. My mouth fell wide open. I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I quickly turned around ,and there stood Olivia looking at me all bright eyed.
"Woah!" I exclaimed."How did you do that?"
"I can just think about somewhere one second and be there the next," she explained.
" Then to sum it up Sabrina can read minds and heal others, Jack's has fire powers, Griffin can control things with his mind ,and Trey is a shapeshifter," she said trying to speed up the conversation. She was a quicker talker. I almost couldn't keep up with her.
"Slow down Olivia, your confusing the poor girl," Griffin commented.
"Oh,sorry," Olivia apologized
"It's ok."
"Claire, I think I know why Kate is reaching out to you," my Aunt joined in.
"Really why?" I said astonished.
" Well I know you think your Aunt got shot when someone robbed her. That's not the whole truth though. She didn't get robbed by some random person. The people who had her killed knew she was special. They hunted people like her...and still do."
" So they want to hurt people like us?"
