A Wolfs Tale

Chapter 1

I woke this morning to the sun blazing in my eyes from the den opening. It was another good day. I saw my sister sleeping and decided not wake her up yet. So instead I walked out of the den and out of the packs camp. My sister and I are more like friends than sisters. We still argue, but it's over small and really stupid things to be honest.

I quickly caught the scent of a deer herd. I followed the scent until I found the herd, I had to be as fast as possible about this because I'm not supposed to be outside of the den. Reapers orders. I Looked through the herd to find a wounded deer. Once I found one, i snuck up on the herd, being as stealthy as possible. Once I was close enough. I struck. I sunk my teeth into the neck of my prey while the rest of the herd ran off. In our world of predator and prey, you must take life to give life.

I took the deer back to camp and set it in our den. Once I got in the den and set down our breakfast, I decided to wake my sister, it has been quite a while and it was almost noon. She was talking in her sleep? "Wake up." I said right in her ear "No I don't want to die!" She screamed "wake up" I said a little louder this time, while nudging her. "NO! NO! NO!" she said over and over again "wake up!" I practically yelled this time. I was done. "WAKE UP!" I yelled in her ear while I smacked her in the face with my paw. She jolted awake, and looked at me and screamed "AHHHHH!" 

"oh it was just a dream" she said whimpering as she realized how many wolves were looking in our direction. "um.......I'm sorry" she said speaking in a low voice, barely audible. she lifted her head and look around. "I have breakfast waiting for us." I said while I gestured to the deer I hunted earlier this morning. I had gotten a little hungry while waiting for her to wake up so I ate just a little. as she looked at the deer she started to drool. "you've been asleep for quite a while" I said as i looked at her a little concerned. and that was coming from me, I could sleep for hours on end. "I see its almost noon" she said with food in her mouth.

"That was good, where di-" she was cut short by a loud howl. it must be reaper. we had just finished our food and it was almost sundown. I wonder what he wanted? was it something important? as we walk towards the sky rock I noticed reapers face, and it wasn't a happy expression. it must be bad news. the last time we had bad news was when.....they died. I started to get really angry. what did he have to say now. I wonder if another pack member had died and all he would do is talk about it and do nothing! "I have called you here because I have some bad ne-" I cut him short by letting out an aggressive growl. I had the strongest urge to jump up on that rock and rip out his throat. but that's not the best idea he is the alpha and all. I started to notice how everyone was looking at me but I didn't care.

  (A/N)   ok everyone that's the end of that chapter I hoped you enjoyed it. my friend and I have come up with a posting schedule.
