Siobhan and I were touring around Venice Italy and we decided to take a trip down the Grande Canal to get the full Venice experience. It was magnificent. Then I overheard someone talking about a cruise ship that had crashed into the bridge up ahead called ''Ponte dell'Accademian''
"Excuse me... Um... Do you speak English? Lei parla ingles?'' Siobhan asked while nervously shaking, and looked down at the deck of their boat.
The stranger wiped his head around quickly and replied, ''Yes!'' then just as fast as he had turned his head to answer Siobhan, he was walking away.
She looked up and saw that the man was walking away before she even got a chance to ask him about what she had overheard, ''Um excuse me sir, I was not done talking!'' She said in a somewhat frustrated tone of voice, with her hands clenched behind her back, like she was trying very hard to hide her anger. When he did not respond she was so filled with anger that she ran to catch up to him. And yelled out ''Hello can I please ask you something?''
When I caught up to her she was completely out of breath, her cheeks whereas red as a cherry, from being so frustrated and out of breath. "Calm down, and take your time.'' I said trying to get her to just enjoy the ride. "We can relax we have three hours on the boat till we have to get off. So truly take your time, relax and enjoy the outstandingly beautiful billings.''
"Okay, okay. I'm just really interested in what he was saying, I'm sorry. Look he is going into the control room.'' She said with an overly excited tone of voice. She grabbed my hand and tried to pull me in to the control room.
"Where in the world do you think you are taking us?'' I said starting to get upset with her overly pushy ness.
"I won't to find out what he was talking about don't you? She said persisting, with her puppy dog face, with the puckered lips and the bulging eyes, that sadly but truly always gets me every time.
"Fine all right, all right we can go in'' I shuck her now tightened grip off of my arm, and grabbed her hand.
"Yes, thank you.'' She said as she pulled me into the control room where the man was standing getting the ship ready to go. ''Um excuse me sir'' she said feeling weird repeating herself but she shook it off.
"Oh hi there, sorry for earlier but I had to get the boat ready'' he looked down at the weal inflicting that he was the Captain of the boat.
"Oh, um, well I overheard you talking about a cruise ship that crashed close to where this boat is stopping...'' she posed to think about what to say next. "And I was wondering if you could tell me more about this crashed cruise ship? If you wouldn't mind.''
"Yes of course, no problem. It all started on...'' an amazing day to cross the ocean, the sun rise was brilliant, it was a beautiful pinkish orange, and the water was still and perfectly crisp. Captain Marquis was getting the cruise ship all set up to go on its first voyage from Brindisi Italy all the way to Venice Italy.
The giant air horn bellowed out a deep rumbling noise. Then the Captain announced last boarding check. He was ready to leave as soon as all passengers were on board.
