17 lay dead

This poem is about the Florida shooting and it is against guns. So, if you believe in guns don't read because I don't want to offend you. I also completely respect your opinions on this subject. But please don't go hating on me cause you can't respect mine.

Another day

Another morning

No one saw it coming

All it took was one person

And now 17 people lay dead

17 families losing one

One of those 17 people

Could've cured cancer

One of those 17 people Could've became president

One of those 17 people

Could've helped millions

One of those 17 people

Could've gone to the Olympics

And won gold medals

A person and a gun

Destroyed 17 dreams and hopes

Another 17 lay dead

All because we made

Guns

I am deeply sorry if I offended you in anyway that was not my intentions.
