The thirst of blood was something Leon had always lusted after, even as a baby. His mother couldn't produce milk while breastfeeding and Doctors had an idea. They fed him blood through a bottle and he grew up fast. He went from a baby to a teenager within a few weeks until his growth stopped. He continued to look 18 and did so until his parents died in 1780. Leon outlived his family and moved to Salem to settled down.

May 1878 in Salem Massachusetts, Lucretia L.S. Brown accuses Spofford, a 17-year-old girl, of being a witch. Saying she "tried to harm Lucretia" with her "mesmeric powers." Spofford tried to defend herself but Lucretia, nicknamed "Lucifer", (for obvious reasons), was the head of Salem Fellowship Church, and was looked up to. Spofford was just a teenager who got into trouble and called a "Harlet", known for being involved with the towns older men, whom were also married. Soon enough, the beautiful town of Salem was overrun by the second Salem witch trials. There was to be a trial for Spofford and her friends who are now also getting accused of witchcraft, to be held in two weeks. If they were pronounced guilty, they had to be hung and stoned to death. The witches needed to find their Safehaven and they never expected he would be a vampire.

Leon was shocked at how the town fell apart within days. His village was now filled with raging people and frightened the children and he wanted everything to go back to normal. He goes in to town to try to get to the bottom of everything.

Leon tipped the carriage driver three pennies and continued walking to the Dover Morgan where everyone goes to socialize. I smell the scent of burning flesh... the smell being very familiar to me.

"Please! Please! don't! I'm not a monster!"
I walk closer to the ear piercing screams of the girl around my age... not literally... but about 16 looking. A rope is being tied around her neck and a knife puncturing her wrists.

"Just admit it! Admit who you are!" The mayor yells. The girls blood didn't seem to trigger my senses, although it did trigger a memory of a friend I once had. After i turned, I met a girl named Harper. I was going into the shop my doctor told me about, and a cute girl caught my attention. We hit it off and then we tried dating, until I find out we weren't compatible due to an important reason... she was a witch. Harper taught me how to except myself and she was my life. She hung herself a few years ago.

Witch blood had a sharp scent. It doesn't attract vampires... but chases them away. The girl who was being attacked had to have been a witch. She kept crying and choking up blood and people were screaming to "kill the monster!" I felt like it was my duty to help her.

I run past the crowd and scream "Help! There's another one! Over here!" I hide behind the maple branches and nobody sees me, but they follow the direction I was running in. The towns people heed over people and I sneak out behind the branch, running the opposite way towards the girl.

I Jott up onto the wooden stage and the girl was crying. I looked down to the audience, just three folk standing bewildered and panicked. I ignore them and bite my wrist. "Here, drink." I pulled her hair to attach her mouth to my wound, and ignore the muffled screams as my blood shoots through her throat. After I decide she's had enough, I pull my wrist back, watch my wound heal, and look to her wrists. The deep holes closing up clean.

"What what was that? What did you do? How did you do that?!" She yells with her weakened voice.

"Look, it's okay. I will explain later. But right now we have to go." I pull on the rope above her and it snaps in half. Easy.

"Why are you so strong?"

"No questions. Just follow me." And I throw her over my shoulder and speed away. Out of Salem.
