"Sophia, come on. It won't hurt to meet new people!" I said, trying to convince her to get into the car.
"No! I'm not going to a veteran's house! He could freak out and snap my body in half!" Sophia screamed, desperately trying to get out of the hug I trapped her in. (I'm being generous by calling it a "hug".) I gave a big sigh. "If we go to Wendy's, will you be willing to come with me?" I grimaced. I watched as magically my arms wrapped around her started to weaken to let her turn around to me. I saw her eyes enlarge and she immediately started nodding her head.
"It shouldn't be this much of a hassle..." I muttered under my breath while I walked by Sophia's side to the door. As I opened it, I took a split second staring at the sky. Cloudy, but that just means that I won't have the sun burning off my retina. I took a swift left to our driveway, whilst practically whipping my car keys out of my pocket. I took a quick look at the buttons on it, and pressed on the unlocked lock twice to unlock our car. I got in the drivers seat while Sophia went to the other side of the car into the passenger's seat. I took the keys and put them in a cup holder between me and Sophia right under the prindle (not literally.). I changed the gear to driving and waited for the car to warm up. As I did, I turned to Sophia. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen. I can guarantee you that." I said, trying my best to comfort Sophia. I could tell how distressed she was just by monitoring her actions. "Okay, but we're still getting Wendy's."
We got out of the car, Sophia holding a Wendy's bag, eating fries dipped in ketchup. The car wa parked in the driveway of Ssan's house. For an ex - vet he sure had a big house. We walked up to the door, where I pressed on the doorbell. Within 3 seconds we could hear almost animal like running to the door, and somehow open the door at the same time? The door practically whipped open, Naomi at the door. "Hi mystic! Hi sophia!" She enthusiastically bubbled. I waved, and walked into the house, Sophia right behind me. We were in a somewhat circular "lobby" with a staircase to my left leading to the upstairs which from what I could see led to the kitchen right in-front of the top of the staircase. There were two halls on my left and right, the right leading to what I believed to be bedrooms or something of the sort and the left to the living room. I turned around, and Sophia disappeared while Naomi was still there, looking outside as if looking for someone. "Did Sophia leave the house?" I asked, confused. "No, she went into the living room. We have one more guest, however, yet they seem to not be here... Speaking of guests, actually!" She said, interrupting herself somehow.
