"I can't believe we lost her. How could we possibly lose our friend? How are we going to explain this to her foster parents? Everyone is going to think we murdered her or something like that. I don't want to be known as the thirteen year old who helped kill her fifteen year old friend ," Ylva rambled, pacing back and forth in front of the carriage.
"Ylva, that's not going to happen," Dexa reasoned, rolling her eyes.
"How can you know that? It's not like you can predict the future," Ylva stated.
"That's true, Ylva, but I'm pretty sure her eyes work well enough to see Azalea right behind you," Azara chucked, glancing at Azalea's approaching figure.
"You have a point but- wait what," Ylva exclaimed, spinning on her heel, coming face to face with her older friend.
"Hello, and I know you're happy to see that I am still breathing, but I am holding a little dog in my arms, so I would prefer if you didn't crush her by hugging me," Azalea babbled, stepping back slightly.
"Oh, okay- wait a puppy! Aww, she's so cute," Ylva cried, shifting her hand to caress the pup.
"Yeah, she is, but we really should get going. We're almost at the mountain. Azara, would you mind taking control of the carriage for me," Azalea announced, hopping into the wooden vehicle.
