Scomarson- How It All Began (Pt.1)

"Mason's gonna land in soon with his boyfriend, Mark." Shawn yelled out to Scott from the bathroom in their hotel room.

"Oh, he has a boyfriend?" Scott walked into the bathroom seeing Shawn shaving.

"Yeah, his name's Mark. They're pretty much the cutest couple. They've been dating since high school in Washington, and they moved to LA together a few years back. Mason said they've been together for like 10 years. Aren't they goals?"

"Aww they're kinda like me and Mitch... Or what the fans think we are anyway" Scott laughed.

Shawn rolled his eyes fondly at Scott.

Scott, Shawn and few of their friends were in Las Vegas for EDC. Shawn had recently introduced Scott to his work friend, Mason. Scott and Mason hit it off instantly, and Scott was quite fond of him even though they just met once.

A few hours later, the whole group sat by the pool, sipping on cocktails after their swim.

Shawn was engrossed in a conversation with his best friend, Danny.

Mark and Mason shared a lounge chair. Mark lay flat on top of Mason, while Mason had his arms around Mark's lower back.

Scott smiled fondly at the couple as he took a sip of his Piña colada. He noticed that Mark and Mason seemed to fit together perfectly and were completely in sync.

After talking to them before the swim, he admired how fresh and exciting their relationship was despite being together for nearly a decade. With the exception of Alex, Scott couldn't imagine dating someone for so long.

Scott glanced towards Shawn and frowned slightly. He felt like his relationship with Shawn was going no where and wasn't nearly as exciting as Mark and Mason's. 

Since they got back from Iceland, Scott's gradually been feeling less and less enthusiastic about his relationship with Shawn.

While seeing each other for brief periods between tour in 2016 was exciting and something Scott really looked forward to, since Scott returned to  LA,  the initial excitement in their relationship had fizzled out.

Their relationship started to feel efforted and forced. Scott realized how little he has in common with Shawn.

While Shawn was more of a quiet homebody, Scott craved for more spontaneity and fun in the relationship. However, any attempts to liven their relationship seemed unnatural and forced.

He had hoped their trip to Cabo would rekindle the spark, but it wasn't of much avail.

Shawn looked past Danny and noticed Scott holding his drink with a pensive expression. Shawn walked towards Scott's lounge chair, smiling at him .

"You alright, babe?" Shawn stroked Scott's bare shoulder.

"Yeah, of course" Scott smiled.

Shawn bent down to kiss Scott softly on the lips. He squeezed Scott's shoulders slightly and winked "You look so hot in a bathing suit".

Scott smiled and smacked Shawn's ass lightly  as he walked back to Danny.

Shawn gasped and turned to Scott with slight flushed cheeks.

"I'll have to get back at you for that".

Scott smirked, feeling quite tipsy after having his second Piña Colada on an empty stomach.

After an hour more of lounging around the pool, all of them went back to their respective hotel rooms to shower and get ready for the EDC performances.
