The last days at high school

ONE

It was early in the morning and still dark when Chris woke up to  someone soaking him roughly. He groaned and mumbled to himself, half asleep.

' Chris!' He jerked fully awake at the sound of that familiar voice. It was  his brother.                    max!' Chris said in surprise.
'Yes, it's me,' and his brother smiled in a way that showed only his upper teeth
 
Man!  What ....?   Chris began.  They looked at each other delighted.
 
'No greeting,  litre bro?   Max smiled again.
 
'Sorry does anyone know you're here? does dad...?
   Chris did not  complete the sentence; instead he embraced his brother tightly.'I've missed you!'

Max has been leaving home and come back due to the drug business he does and dad is angry about it  but mom tends to cover him up all the time. I better leave  the house before dad wakes up and start his talk  with  max and start warning  me against his attitude but I still  love him no matter what ..

   ring...  ring..   My alarm brought me back , it was time to get ready for school.

On way to school someone called his name, it was his next door neighbour and schoolmate,
   Justin a Short, thin boy who hardly reached Chris's shoulders.

   'heard you  arrived back from your trip yesterday', Justin said ,slightly out of breath.'was waiting for you'.
     'Hey Justin!sorry. my mind was somewhere else.'Chris smiled delighted and threw Justin a friendly Punch.
   Justin snorted noisily. Well, it's nice to have you back.'

When the welcoming address by the principal was over  students crowded into the hallways  and corridors of the school, chatting. Some greeted  Justin  but many more crowded around Chris.
  'Chris, where have  you been?
   'Missed you!                                Coachie annoyed!'
Party tonight......' 
   Soon the bright spark who was in an unspoken contest with Chris over their chemistry and finally caro, the queen bee with her perpetual dis disdainful expression.
  Chris was the best student in chemistry and a whiz kid in other science subject  with all his looks and great skills in football and girls like to flung  around him. If  their was anyone who could be described as an all- rounder it was Chris ..
