Chapter 2: I Can't

Darzeth POV-

"My god Neb....Please don't tell anyone.." I whispered in embarrassed.

"No promise," she said that sounded evil.

"Don't tell anyone! If you tell anyone I'm gonna tell Bomber your feelings!~" I said smirking.

"You wouldn't!"

"Try me~"

"..... Ugh. You win," She said angrily and making a puff noise.

"Anyway! Do you wanna go shopping?" She asked excited.

"Um... I don't know..... I got a lot of work to do and more videos to edit," I trailed off hoping not to out today because of reasons.

"Please!!!!!" She pled. She won't stop until I say yes.

"Fine!" I said and she yelled victorious.

"Meet you at the *a certain restaurant* ," she said," because I'm hungry and you have to eat too because you've been working hard then ever."

"Okay! See you there Nebby~" I sang, giving her a nickname and she groaned.

"Ugh.... Well.... Meet you there Darzy~" She sang, giving me a nickname. I chuckled and she giggled. We said are byes and disconnected from discord.

I got ready and put on my favorite clothes. I grabbed my phone,ear buds,wallet,and car keys.

I entered my car and started the engine. I checked the mirror to see if anyone was behind me. Nope! No cars coming up.

"Welp! Time to head to the place now!" I said to myself and started to drive out the drive thru and start to head to the restaurant.

I was already parking my car in front of the restaurant. I see NebNeb's car driving in and parking next to me. She turned to me and smiled. She got out her car and so did I.

I locked the car and walked around towards her. She hugged me happily.

"Its good to see you Darzy~"she said and stopped hugging me.

" You too Nebby~" I said.

We both stayed silent looking at each other eyes. We burst out of laughing and we walked in the restaurant. With me opening the glass door while we chuckled.

NebNeb was about to say something until she was cut off by laughing. We turn and see who was laughing. And our mouths dropped.

It was Gallant and Pat. They were laughing and eating together.

I felt this pain in my chest. I put my hand were the pain hurt. NebNeb notice me and she grabbed me by the hand and we both walked past them to another table.

We both sat down on the seats and looked at each other. She had this smirk on her face.

...Wait....Oh God..She has an evil plan up her sleeve.

Then next thing she did made my whole face heat up.

"I can't believe you asked me out on a date Darzy!" She yelled quietly for Gallant and Pat to hear.

"Um.... I couldn't hold my feelings anymore... So I had to ask you out," I said blushing. She smirked and winked.

I took a glance at the table with the two friends of mine as they tried to watch us without get caught.

I wonder what they're thinking now?
