Fighting Through It

Chapter 1

After hours of driving we finally made it to our destination. We drove from Georgia to California. I guess my mom really wanted to drive! We're making our way to our new house which I'm so exited to see. We get there and all I open mouth to say " Wow!"
"Do you like it?" my mom asking me in a nervous tone.
"Are u kidding? I love it!" I tell my mom. I'm speaking the honest truth, it's so beautiful. We lived in a house in Georgia as well but not this big. It was a medium sized house ever since my mom divorced my father. But this one is huge! Is it weird that I'm in love with a house?
My mom opens the door and I enter this beautiful looking house. I start wandering around to check the whole house. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 and a half bathrooms.
"Choose any room you would like?" my mom tell me coming behind me. I take her word and run upstairs to see which. There so many to choose. The first room I walk in doesn't feel right so I go to another. The second was my favorite as well, so I go to the third. This one isn't either so I got to the fourth one and I feel this positive thing inside of me.
" This is it." I whisper to myself, knowing that I chose right. I go back downstairs to find my mom in the last bedroom where she has a face expression full of awe. I guess she found her right room. Once she recovered she told me that she'll order some pizza for us and then have some sleep. Tomorrow we'll have a busy day since the furniture will come and we'll have to start unpacking our stuff. Tomorrow will be a long day for both of us but it's worth it. I'll have to start checking my stuff for school soon since Monday will be there fist day of school. But there's time for that later. Right now it's pizza time!
