The light flickered across the room through the curtains and right onto my face. I groaned as I sat up in the bed. Daniel was putting his clothes on and upon hearing me wake up, he turned to look at me with his red-tinted cheeks.

"Good morning," he greeted with a shy smile as he pulled up his pants. I bit down on my bottom lip to hold back my smile. How was he so shy? Especially after last night's performance?

"Do you want to talk?" I asked. Although it most definitely was not something I wanted to do, I felt it was very necessary.

"I'm sorry," he suddenly said, turning his whole body so he was now directly facing me. I gulped upon setting my eyes upon his toned chest. I quickly shifted my eyes to meet his before I got caught perving on him.

"What are you apologising for?"

"For last night..." he trailed off, seemingly confused as to why he was apologising himself.

"No need to apologise," I chuckled. "I wanted it and I liked it."

His red tinted cheeks were now flaming. He looked down at his feet, refusing to meet my eyes.

"Then what do you want to talk about?" he asked, looking everywhere but at me. I really had a deep urge to pinch his cheeks.

"About what will happen from now on."

"Oh," he nodded, looking confused.

I sighed before I mustering up the courage and asking, "Do you want to continue having sex?"

His eyes widened and his mouth opened and closed, no words leaving.

"Is that a no?" I asked, making sure that he could hear the disappointment in my voice.

He quickly shook his head.

"I was just surprised by the sudden question. I thought last night would be a one time thing," he replied with a gulp.

"So is it a yes?" I hopefully asked.

"You're alright with that?" he asked with his head tilted to the side.

"I mean, we're both adults and we're married so there's no harm in releasing some stress together once in a while, right?"

He seemed to think about my words for a bit before he nodded.

"With no feelings attached," he asked with an eyebrow raised."

"Of course not. Just stress relief."

A smile grew on his face and he nodded, "Alright."

"Alright," I smiled in return before falling back into the comfort of my bed and completely sleeping off the exhaustion of the previous night.

I woke up a couple of hours later to the sound of my phone ringing.

"Oy!" Vanessa shouted on the other end of the phone. "You're alive!"

"What?"

"I haven't heard from you in ages so I thought you died or something."

I rolled my eyes in response as I sat up in my bed.

"Why are you calling me?"

"I missed you."

"Okay..."
