Clinton's POV
I get to know Chanel's bestfriend , Geraldine Lim. I know, its kind of a guy name but we can't do anything anyway that's her parents decision.
As I'm getting to know Geraldine, I found that there is funny side of her and not just the boring nerd and scary bully side. You can say that she is an example of a living oxymoron, a Bully Nerd. It sound weird but if your on my feet and you meet her. She is obviously more of a mature one. She looks like a living Goddess if only she know how to be one but right now. She looks like a living oxymoron because of being a Bully Nerd and Villain Hero. She is somewhat a kind of girl you'll be looking for to a girlfriend. Wait, Didn't I told you? She is also smart and yet she keeps saying that she'll try harder next grading and that she will study already from now on. She loves to challenge herself. Wait, let me rephrase it, she is wife material because I just learned when I stalk her that she also knows how to do chores in the house like cooking and cleaning.
Anyways, it's been few months living in this place and yet it still felt foreign for me. Not completely foreign but a little at ease.
And even though its been months, I think that I'm falling into the nerds trap and I don't even wanna try to climb up.
I courted her, like other guys do if they like a girl. Months past and finally she said yes.
We became in relationship at the same day of Valentines, and that became the most romantic day of our life, I guess so far.
We overcome a lot of problems together like her being jealous to a lot of girls or me being jealous to a lot of her guy friends but we overcame it all.
Not until One day, it is our Anniversary and we've planned to do it in a private resort within the province. I planned to surprise her. I didn't greet her 'Happy Anniversary' and I ask her friend to tell her that they can go to a vacation with other friends, and I told her friends to come over to the resort but of course I plan for both of us to stay in a private hotel in the resort.
The time I've been waiting for came, she came walking beside the beach with her bestfriend Chanel.
Obviously, galit na galit siya malamang sa akin dahil di ko siya nabati ngayon. Pero syempre ginawa ko lamang yun para sa surprise.
Nakarating na sila sa may pina-set kong table sa may tabing dagat.
Geraldine's POV
Nakakainis, sa loob ng 11 months namin ay di pa siya nakakalimot na bumati sa akin, at ngayon pa talagang anniversary namin siya di nakakalimot. Naiiyak na ako habang naglalakad kami ng bestfriend kong si Chanel sa beach. Nagkataon kasi na may event daw si Chanel dito sa beach resort na 'to at nayakag naman ako. Syempre dahil wala namang plano ang jowa ko, edi gora with Chanel.
"Oh! Bakit ka umiiyak, Beshy?" Di ko napansin na umiiyak na pala ako kung hindi lamang mapansin ni Chanel.
Nakarating kami sa may naka-set na table malapit sa sea shore.
"Chanel, Ano 'to? Di tayo kakain? Laks ng trip mo ah. May pa candle lights pa." Biro ko kahit kagagaling ko lang sa iyak.
"Loka. Hindi noh, pero umupo ka na lang muna diyan. Di ka kasi nag ayos muna noh. Talaga namang simpleng white Maxi dress ang suot at flip flops." Sagot ni Chanel.
Paglapit pa namin sa table ay nakita ko ang likod ng lalaking di ko inaasahan na makikita ko dito.
"Geraldine. " sambit niya sa pangngalan ko.
Habang unti-unting tumulo ang luha ko at hindi na dahil sa lungkot kundi sa ligaya.
"Clinton. Ano 'to?" Kahit mukhang alam ko na ay nagtanong pa rin ako.
"Happy Anniversarry My Babybabe, My Baby, My Darling, My Earth at kung ano ano pang CS na alam mo sa wattpad world." Banggut niya habang may nakasilay na ngiti sa kaniyang mga mala rosas na labi.
Lalo lamang ako naiiyak sa saya dahil sa sinabi niya.
"Naalala mo yung mga libro mong gusto? Yung He's into Her season 1 hanggang 3? Ipinabili ko na. Pati na rin yung gusto mong libro na Secret Series." Pagkatapos niyang sabihin yun ay lalo akong naiyak sa saya.
Napaka suwerte ko talaga at nagkaroon ako ng kapareha ma gaya niya.
"Oh! Tama na iyak. Sorry na po at di ko sinabi sa yo 'tong mga 'to. Surprise nga kasi yun. " pagpapaliwanag niya.
Kaya naman ay napatawa ako sapagkat ngumuso ba naman.
"Parang bata. Anyways, bakit beach resort naman ngayon? Sana ay sa pad mo na lamang tayo at ipagluluto kita. Gumastos ka tuloy. Tapos ang dami mo pang binili na regalo sakin." Sabi ko.
"If its for you, nothing is too much. Nothing is expensive." Sagot niya.
Pagkatapos ay tumayo siya mula sa pagkakaupo.
At naluha ako ng makitang lumuhod soya at maglabas ng red box.
"Will you let me, McClinton Morsch, marry you, Geraldine Renai Lim?. I'm gonna promise you nothing for promises are meant to be broken but I will try and do my best to never let you be jealous and sad and mad of me ever again." He said like as if saying his vow to me.
"I guess, Yes. I will marry you Mr. McClinton Morsch. And I'll hope that you'll do as you said your vows." Naiiyak sa tuwang sambit ko.
Mahigit isang taon din ang pagpaplano mg kasal. Medyo mahirap kasi madalas ay pareho kaming busy sa trabaho namin sa kompanya pero dahil siya naman ang C.E.O ay nagkakaroon pa rin kami ng oras para sa pahinga at paglalambingan.
