Love to Ashes

The Beginning

ASH'S P.O.V.

The fight raged on as I sat in the woods terrified that this might be my end.I soon took the chance to run, knowing that the humans were distracted by the other wolfs in my pack. Not even getting a foot away from the woods I was grabbed by the scruff of my neck "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!?" boomed the angry man's voice.I whimpered and whined trying to get free of his strong grip.In the blink of an eye, a flash of black fur tackled the man that had a hold of me.As he fell I managed to get free "VOID!" my dad barked, with that a small white he-rabbit with loving brown eyes motioned to follow him.I hesitated for a second and followed him through the forest escaping the battle and we soon found a place to hide.It was a small cave with some rock by the entrance.

VOID'S P.O.V.

I hid in the woods away from the battle, for a long time I heard nothing but the sounds of gunshots and men screaming.Soon Mr.Hunter bark at me, I knew what he meant, glancing around I soon saw Ash.A small ash grey he-pup with glowing emerald green eyes. I waved my hand, motioning for him to follow me, and with a second of hesitation, he did.We escaped through the woods I eventually found a small cave with some rocks by the entrance (jackpot!)I thought.I tapped Ash's paw and run into the small cave he soon followed.As soon as we got in the cave I blocked the entrance with the rocks next to it.

ASH'S P.O.V.

He tapped my paw and ran into the small cave so I looked around there is nowhere else to go so I followed him into the cave.As soon as I got into the cave he blocked the entrance with the rocks next to it.While Void went to go and somehow make a light source I sat in the corner and watch void do whatever he was doing.As I sat there I couldn't help but cry as I feared the worst that had happened to my dad as my thoughts took over.As the thoughts got worse I started to cry more "Don't cry Mr.Ash."Void said to me when he noticed me crying.Before I knew what he was doing we were face to face with one of his paws on each of my cheeks, he pulls our heads together leaving our foreheads touching.I closed my eyes as he started to speak"Listen I know you're scared but you need to focus on the present, not the past, ok?" at that moment I opened my eyes and looked into his, they were calming and(DREAMY.) I thought (wait what was that!?) I thought as I replayed what I thought just then."Ok."I said. I was screaming in my head. He pulled away and went back to trying to make a light source with a bright flash of red and orange a fire sparked up on some wood in the middle of the cave "WHAT, HOW-"I was cut off," It's a secret, now get some rest we must find lex's pack." he said "who is lex?"I asked, "the pack my brother works in he can get us a place to stay in lex's pack, now go to sleep." he said laying in front of me "ok." I said lying next to him.
