Kanayama Act I

The sun glared at me. Adding the hotness inside my jacket, it seems like I'm a dried fish under the sun.

And at my back, were my fans (mostly fangirls) chasing me... again.

 "Shinta-kun!"

"Ohmygod,Shinta-kunishereIneedhisautograph!" (translate: "Oh my god, Shinta-kun is here. I need his autograph!" )

"SING FOR US, SHINTA-KUN~!!!"

"Just let me be free even for a day, god damn it!!!"

I kept on running until--

~ *( he was able to escape after stumbling down the stairs and rolling on a side)* ~

"I'm so done with my life..."

I sighed hopelessly as I threw the soda can on garbage can, which kept on turning around the lid then bounced on the wall and hit my head right at the middle.

"WHY AM BORN SO UNLUCKY?!"

And... hello there folks. Kanayama Shintaro, a.k.a Shinta-kun, currently doing the narration. About those (my) fangirls chasing me earlier... well... to say this straight, I'm an idol.

Yep, you heard me right. I am an idol. You know, those popular guys thingy.

But it's not like I want it. Wait, let me re-phrase that. I like it but not much. Anyways, my luck's the worst, you see.

To start off, I usually get into troubles and stuff. Not the fights in school or getting involve with bullies. But well, I do get in bully fights before. Argh.. just let me get to the point. Um... troubles... like losing something, perhaps my money or something important and etc. and etc. Just think the rest for me, okay?

I heaved a sigh as I put my hood back again. Still directionless and unsure (of whether the fans are still here or not), I started walking again.

Passing through crossroads and crossing streets, it was strange that the whole place was very crowded. Then, coincidentally, I was able to hook a leaflet.

[The Obon Festival is going pretty smoothly this year, just as the way as the Kyoto Tea Shoppe is~ Have a short visit here, everyone~]

"Ah... Obon Festival..."

Ah... so it's back to this date huh.

August 15.

And speaking of festival... does it have sales on products today?

"Ah!"

Thinking about the sales and stuff, I started running towards the mall. Call me a sale maniac if you like since I really am one.

Unfortunately, my bad luck attacked me again.

A batch of wind passed through the street where I walked. And guess what?

My hood flew off.

Everyone around me started staring at me and started to realize who I was.

Shoot.

"Is that....?"

"Shinta-kun?!"

"Oh my! It really Shinta-kun!"

"Really? Why is an idol here in a public street?"

"Shinta-kun! Sing for us!"

"Um.... Hi... fans....?"

1... 2... 3.... RUN DAMN IT.

"Shinta-kun! Wait!"

"Shinta-kun~ Sing for us~!!"

My life is really miserable.

~ *(And like what happened earlier, he was able to escape after stumbling down the stairs and rolling on a side)* ~

Thankfully, after stumbling down the stairs and rolled weirdly at the side, I reached the mall in one piece.

As what I expected, it was really crowded. And the lines on the counters were insanely long. I don't think that my big sister can survive this kind of place. Why did I thought of my sister anyways?

I walked and walked. Looking at clothes, then the price tag and hesitate whether to buy it or not. But in the end, I didn't bought any. For now, groceries are my main target.

I checked my pocket and luckily, I still had money that fits for a bunck of goodies. And again, I started--

BANG

Okay, I stopped.

Instinctively, I ducked my head and looked at my sides. People started running in panic and started screaming or crying or just randomly spouting things. I bit my nails while breathing out and in.

Calm down... Calm down... Calm down. Panicking is useless in a situation like this. Okay, what kind of situation is this?

I started running towards the stairs and looked around. Suddenly, a dark smoke appeared at my sight. Gas? Wait... In movies... it usually have some sleeping effects and maybe...

"...?!"

From afar, I noticed that some people started to faint. I hurriedly covered my nose and started running again. Suddenly,

BUMP

Unintentionally, I bumped on someone. I stopped and slowly bowed down.

"Gomenasai (I'm sorry)."

I quickly raised my head and looked at the boy in front of me. He was wearing an Ipod Hoodie with his dark green hair covered. His black eyes showed a "don't-go-near-me" look. I wasn't really that effected by that look anyways. I, somehow, am used to it.

But I didn't last long with him. Without hearing his response, I decided to run again. To the stairs, to the halls. Anywhere as long as I can find people to save to.

"Oi! That girl in a red varsity jacket! Who are you contacting, huh?!"

For some odd reasons, I froze. Red... Varsity... Jacket...? Could it be--

Out of curiosity, I jogged silently and peeked at the scene in the stairs.

"Hoy! I'm talking to you!"

And my suspicions were right. I don't know what to think at the scene I saw.

"I'm not talking nor contacting anyone."

A girl in a red varsity jacket retorted back with a calm yet annoyed look. Unfortunately, I know that girl pretty well.

"O... Onee-san...?"

That girl is no other than my big sister.

Kanayama Ayaka.
