Mistake (A Marichat story)

A "Slow" Start

Chat Noir's POV

Ladybug had been gone for a long time. I'm not sure how much I can keep at this. Everything that happened to people in their nightmare happened in real life. That's why my shoulder bled. But something happened right that moment that caused me to hate Nightmare. He had zapped Marinette.

She was running toward the bakery when
ZAP!

A shadowed figure closed in on Marinette and had the shape of...

Me?!?

"Chat Noir! Don't do this!"

The next thing I heard was:
"There's no more Noir, only Blanc!"

That's when it hit me, her nightmare was an akumatized me.

I ran towards her when I saw something falling from the sky.

"Alya!"

It was Alya right now, and Marinette in a second, or Alya dies and Marinette now. Of course I tried to save both.

I quickly caught Alya mid-run and kept dashing toward Marinette. But the worst had happened...

"CATACLYSM!!"

"Chat Bla-"

Chat blanc's hand thrusted towards Marinette, Marinette nearly dodging. Keyword, nearly. Chat Blanc's arm connected to her arm.

Marinette let out the most blood-curdling scream

And her arm slowly started to decay.

Thank god the decay was moving incredibly slowly, we could still save her, right? If not...

No, we can. I refuse to believe she's going to die. She is going to be okay, I'll make sure of that, because I love her.

I set Alya down and ran as fast as I could to Marinette and hit the fake-akumatized-me with my staff. The shadow disappeared and left only Marinette on the ground with her slowly decaying arm.

"Princess! Are you okay?"

I already knew the answer to that.

"N-No. Chat B-Blanc, h-he-"

"Shh, you'll be okay, do you know anyone that can help?"

"I do know one person, I just came from there. Alya! Take this to Nino!"

Marinette tossed what I think was a miraculous box with her good arm, but I'm not sure. All I care about is helping my princess.

Nino's POV

I hope Ladybug and Chat Noir are doing okay, being in that nightmare was, well, a nightmare! And my headphones are still broken!

"Hey! Nino! Catch!"

"Alya?!?"

She tossed me a dark brown octagonal box with red Chinese designs. I opened the box to see a small turtle bracelet in it.

"What's this?"

"Marinette told me to give it to you. I don't know what it is."

I put the bracelet in my pocket and ran with Alya to the nearest safe alleyway. I took the bracelet out of my pocket and I put it on. A bright green flash happened as soon as I fastened it around my wrist.
