~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a sunny July morning. Its almost the end of the summer break. I awoke to my phone ringing. The non-stop ringing drove me insane as I peered over my comforter. The ringing stopped and I signed with relief. I closed my eyes for a few seconds more then the ringing began again. I shifted with frustration, grabbing my phone to see who was calling. It read "No Caller ID".
I pressed the decline button and slid out of bed putting my bunny slippers on. Unlocking my phone I open google play music and press on the new Fall Out Boy album. I pressed shuffle and tossed my phone on my bed disconnecting it from the charger. Walking to my dresser, I pulled out a pair of vans under my dresser and a nice summer dress. Closing the doors to the dresser, I walked into the bathroom and proceeded to get change.
As I finished up I could no longer hear my music playing. Walking from the bathroom as I take my braids out, I look down at my phone. Pressing the home button the light on the screen lights up and reads a total 59 missed calls. My eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. I sat there in daze and shook my head. Confused, I sat down and tied my shoes. In silence, I hear a click. Sounded like an IPhone camera.
I immediately stood up in confusion and gazed around the room. I heard a notification sound. "New Message From..." I opened my text. The texted said..''I See You", with a picture attached. I tapped on the picture and waiting for it to load. It finally loaded and my eyes filled with tears. I felt sick to my stomach. I was frozen, unable to move as my tears streamed down my face. I heard another click and snapped back to reality. The same notification sound played. Looking back at my phone, their was another picture..It was me standing there, frozen in fear. The message read....''Boo". My body filled with anger and fear. I sprinted down the stairs crying like a baby.
Tripping at the last stair , I went flying. As I hit the floor my brother and his best friend awkwardly turned and looked at me as my phone slid across the wooden floor. My brother Stefan says ''I think you missed a step or two Athena". Stefan's friend Jeremy leans down and helps me up and hands me my phone. ''H...Hey.. you okay..?" Jeremy questions? "Just Fine.." I wipe my tears and my phone starts ringing. Again No Caller ID... Stefan answered the phone since I refused to answer. As Stefan answers he asks ''Hello? Who Is This?". As the seconds roll by Stefan turns to me and hands me the phone. "It's For You" Stefan replies. "I uh... don't want it..." I said holding back the tears.
"Fine" Stefan says putting the phone back to his ear. "Hey sorry but she isn't in the mood to talk right now, call later?". Stefan hung up and Jeremy asks "Why didn't you answer?" My face lit up and I said in a quirky tone "Oh.. no reason.." I grabbed my phone and walked into the kitchen. I opened a cabinet and pulled out a bowl and a spoon. Traveling around the kitchen, I grabbed lucky charms and opened the fridge grabbing orange juice and milk. Closing the fridge door I turn and meet face to face with Jeremy. ''Uhh..." I said in an uncomfortable tone. "Need help?" Jeremy says putting his hand on the fridge. "Shouldn't you be with Stefan?" I replied with, moving around him like an obstacle course.''Oh uh yeah, but this dude came to the door and asked if we knew you.." Jeremy said as he followed me. I set all the stuff on the counter and walked back to the cabinet to grab a cup , when out of no where I hear a click...."New Message From.."
My phone was on the counter next to Jeremy as he peered over and taps on my phone. "Who's this" he responds. I set down my favorite cup and grabbed my phone. "I uh.. I don't know.." I said in a shaky voice. He gave me a weird look. ''How do you not know who this is..?" He said sternly. "Jeremy..I Don't Know..Who It Is..." my voice shook. "Well, If you don't know who it is, then ask? or is it a stalker of some sort?" He said jokingly. "You going to open it?" he said getting closer. "Uh.. yeah" I said unlocking my phone. We opened the text once again and my eyes lit up. "what the heck..!" I mumbled to myself.. ''Hey! That's a pretty good picture! W-wait who took this!?" Jeremy said in shock. Tears began to fall off my soft cheeks. I rubbed my eyes whimpered. ''Jeremy.." Jeremy grabbed me and held me close, one hand gently rubbing my head and the other around my waist.
"Whats wrong Athena..and who is this guy!" Jeremy eagerly said forming a fist. I looked up and made eye contact with him then grabbed his hand and pulled him to the nearest closet. I sat there in tears trying to explain but all you can hear is my fearful cries. Jeremy pulled me close wiping my tears from my cheek. "Its okay Athena, I'm here for you, but you need to calm down and tell me what's happening." I took a deep breath. My heart sank to my stomach as I began explaining whats been happening. The more I explained the angrier Jeremy got. He put one hand around my waist and one on my cheek. He said softly "I won't let this creep hurt you." He leaned in for a kiss then Stefan opens the door and says "OH! Their you guys are! I've been looking for you guys!" I quickly pulled Stefan in and closed the door. He tried talking and I placed my pointer finger over his lips and whispered "shh.." Stefan looked confused and me and Jeremy started explaining, but left out the fact we almost kissed.
Stefan looked horrified.. he hugged me and asked for the photos that the creep took. As I handed him my phone it made the same sound like before. The dreadful, terrifying sound. We all where horrified and saw "New Message From". It read.."It's not nice to ignore your guests".
