"LUCY!!!" My mum screamed for the 100th time except this time she pulled the covers off of me aswell. Normally, I'd be fuming if my mum pulled my covers off me because the weather in Britain is almost always cold enough to give you frost bites but at the moment all I could think about was how much I'm gonna miss Britain and it's awful weather. "Mum, your making move to Australia ,which by the way is on the other side of the world, leaving all my friends and family behind the very least you could do is let me have a lay in" I stated matter of factly. The short lecture was pointless though as it turns out 'cause all mum said was get your arse out of bed and get the rest of your bloody boxes packed. Considering the tone she said it in I got up and started packing up my boxes.
It's been hours and Ive finally finished packing my boxes ; I'm finding it very hard to get around my room. And although I've done everything to get ready for moving from London to Sydney I still feel like I'm forgetting something. EMILY!!! I need to ring her , she's been my best friend since pre school and I nearly forget to call her ... what a friend I am.
Ring ring ... this is starting to piss me off now it's been ages and she still hasn't picked u-"LUCY! oh my god are you okay, how's Australia, wait are you even there yet, your not even at the airport yet are you? whe-" I had to cut her off her before my brain exploded ."Emily calm down .I'm fine well as fine as someone moving to Australia could be I guess. But it's 2am and I probably just woke you up so the question is are you okay?" I said humorously but slightly apprehensive at the same time "I'm fine dickhead, I just wanna say goodbye so bye love you bae" she said knowing I hate it when she calls me bae. I replied soon after slightly trying to annoy with her stupid nickname "dontcallmebae" I say quickly in one breath, "and bye I'll call you as soon as I can cake face.". we both yelled byes over and over and after a lot of crying eventually I hung up.
Soon after I got off the phone I had to leave. I said goodbye to my old room, my old house and my old life preparing for the new start thats coming however bad or good it may be.
A/N hi :) I'm new to wattpad and this is my first story so sorry if it's shit and weird this is quite a short chapter so sorry about that too but I hope you enjoy the very little of the story there is. I will update as much as possible if I get any people reading it which probably won't happen.
