[ O n e ]

No one knew what had caused it.

Research had been conducted, and everything now felt that their minds have cleared up, yet there was still a questioning haze that just refused to go away.

Two Alternate Universes had collided and fused.

But there was also one thing that plagued a whole load of them.

What kind of dogsh*t luck do they have to have collided with the Alternate Universe where everyone's gender was swapped?!

Everyone who had considered themselves lucky were now questioning life.

Wait, no, wasn't everyone questioning life and existence itself?

Yeah...

That one day when everything started, practically the entire world had screamed. No, literally.

One person who woke up early had screamed when they found someone in their bed. Moreover, that someone looked like them but was the opposite gender...

That woke everyone else in the building to wake up. Everyone else screamed.

The building screaming could be heard, so the rest of the neighborhood woke up and...

Yeah..., you get the point.

Well, maybe a few didn't scream or were shocked because they felt absolutely blank.

For example, the Aishi household.

Ayano Aishi was not having a good day.

First, she had a nightmare where her Taro was taken from her by that orange-haired Demoness. Second, she woke to someone else in her bed. Third, they were both equal in a fight. And fourth, she forgot to take a knife to her bedside table last night.

But moreover this guy was really, really frustrating. Normal people would be screaming and trying to get away but he was just staring at her with a blank face.

"Who are—," the both of them tried to ask the other. They were in a deadlock on the bed.

They were both so similar, despite the physical appearances.

Then again, they are counterparts to one another. Not that they know this, of course.

They both looked at each other in the eye, and a resolution appeared. "Ayano/Ayato Aishi."

They were both shocked, but the blank facade they had on has been one that they have used for years. It has been perfected for years, and a few shocks wouldn't break it.

"I do not have a sister/brother." They hate how they were so synchronized. It felt absolutely weird. Yet, neither of the two not-so-emotionless teens realized what they were currently feeling, only concentrated on the other, and trying to unravel the enigma that is each other.

They stared each other dead in the eye before getting out of their deadlock and sitting cross-legged in front of the other. "Akademi High." They both told the other.

"You're lying. I've never seen someone like you in school before." It started to annoy the both of them how much they knew the other, yet at the same time, they didn't. "Stop talking the same time I am!"

Ayato finally took the initiative and let the female in front of him speak. She looked so much like him, maybe this was some messed up thing that the occult club did to clone and make the clone the opposite gender?

Ayano stared at the male before her. This will never be solved if neither of them wanted to cooperate, and it seems that this male that looked like her, yet not at the same time might as well be clone that had a gender trans. Did the occult do this?

"...if you really are an Aishi, then tell me, what is our family's secret?" Her voice that was higher only by several pitches didn't seem too different to a male's, yet it contained a trace of feminine origin.

"We cannot feel emotions." His voice was only slightly deeper than hers. "Until?"

The both of them knew they were testing the other to see how trustworthy the other is.

"We find 'the one'."

And a bond of trust was formed. And while it was easy to break, it will slowly grow until it is unshakeable by anything or anyone else. This is the trust of a pair who understood each other completely.

Needless to say, after that, they went to school and found that they weren't the only ones who experienced this confusion. Everyone else was too.

Only, six certain people were horribly confused by something other than the universe colliding and all that stuff.

They only told their counterparts and family about it, but it seems like...

They've found a few new people that are able to make them feel.

This the start of a new generation in the Aishi family.

This is the start of new rivals, love and heartbreak.

Lets just hope that not too much blood is spilled.

I have decided to embrace this ship that I'm pretty sure basically no one ships because I find it adorable.

Yan-Dev also won't tell us the damn reason Ayano feels no emotions whatsoever and will only feel them around Taro so I made one up.
