Before this chapter starts I want to say that the name Snapmaw came from the game "Horizon Zero Dawn" the name belongs to the makes of that game, I just used it because there was no way I could come up with a name
Y/N POV Before I knew it the moon was up and the stars were in the sky Raven: hey Y/N.....ready Me: sure thing Raven and I walked over to the middle of the camp and lied down. A few feet from us was Katrina and John. Raven: Y/N....this is beautiful Me: it is....you never notice these things when you're constantly hunting Raven: look a shooting star Me: make a wish. She closed her eyes and got closer to me. I kissed her forehead and continued looking up at the sky. Raven put her hand on my chest and smiled. John: hey Y/N?? Me: what is it kid? John: you're not all bad Me: you're not so bad either.....your girlfriend isn't bad either Out of the corner of my eye I saw Katrina blushing. 3rd POV One of the bandits went to the river to catch some fish. It was still dark out and his perception was limited. He couldn't see the giant shadow in the water. Then the shadow jumped out of the water and bit into the Bandit, the screaming was heard from the camp Raven: what is that? Y/N: something big Y/N POV I pulled out my katana and readied it. Me: get some of your best men Raven called everyone out, all looking exhausted. Raven: get your weapons, something is coming. It was completely silent, the tension was in the air, everyone was sweating. The sound of crashing occurred and from the back wall there was a giant Grimm crocodile. Katrina: what is that? Me: a snapmaw

Raven: you seem to know these things Me: well I've killed one.....though it was a baby and the armor didn't full develop Raven: how do you kill an adult Me: you have to stab its heart.....MEN......WOMEN......FORWARD We all charged towards the Snapmaw, one of the guys was immediately slapped with its tail and went through the wall. I jumped up and dug my sword into itsshoulder. It roared and threw me off with its momentum. 3rd POV The Snapmaw lunged towards a guy and swallowed him while crushing another one with its tail. Y/N got up and pulled out a dagger and threw it at the Snapmaw. The Grimm stopped what it was doing and charged Y/N. He ran while the Grimm followed, making it bust through one of the walls and into a tree. Raven: Arrows...HIT IT WITH EVERYTHING The arrows were shot into the sky and stuck out of the Snapmaw's back. It turned around and looked at Raven. She readied her sword and looked at it. The Snapmaw roared and charged at her. It lunged at her, mouth wide open. It stopped inches from her body, the Snapmaw turned around to see that it had a spear in its tail. Y/N jammed it in there and smirked. Y/N: my turn. He ran up the tail, grabbing his sword from its shoulder and then jumped. The Snapmaw opened its mouth under him and shut it when Y/N dived in. Raven: Y/N!!! The Snapmaw's body started jumping around as it roared in pain, finally it just fell to the ground. Raven: is it dead? A sword was seen coming out of its side, and Y/N slid out. Y/N: haha.....that was rough.....let's not do that again Raven: we'll have to rebuild the camp. Katrina: you're wounded Y/N: how did that fucker get a tooth in me. He grabbed the tooth and pulled it out. Y/N: these things are complete assholes, up there with Nuckelavees and Thunderjaws. Raven: you feeling okay....? Y/N: yeah.....just need to wash up and I'll be good..... Raven: did your wounds open up Y/N: hopefully not, hey you mind if I grab a drink, that fight left me pretty drained Raven: go right ahead Y/N Y/N: thanks He walked into her tent to grab some of the liquor. Halie: you like him don't you? Raven: SHUT IT
