A/N: This is all I have for now, sorry! I also have set up an update schedule, and I will try to update every Saturday.
Connor walked to his next class with a little spring in his step. Not a noticeable spring, though. He had a reputation to uphold. He still couldn't help smiling. He was in love, you might say. It was a weird feeling for Connor, butterflies swirling around in his stomach, a smile on his face. Yes, Connor, the depressed edgy teenager, cracking a smile. Fucking incredible.
"Whoa. Who are you, and what have you done to my brother?"
Connor looked down to see his sister and glared, a menacing look twisting his features.
"Shut up, Zoe."
He brushed past her as she giggled. A small smile once again formed on Connor's lips. So his sister didn't totally hate him.
So maybe the world wasn't as bad as it seemed.
Connor shook his head, silencing that little voice in his head which still held a bit of positivity. He was just getting his hopes up. Nobody really cared. He had trusted people before, and had paid for it. Like his father.
Anyways, Zoe was probably just making fun of him. Evan barely knew who he was. And even if Evan knew him and liked him back, he would just cause more trouble for Evan. If anyone cared the tiniest bit about Connor, he would push them away. He never helped anyone or accepted help from anyone. He was a monster, a horrible human being, just a bother. He was nothing but a pain in the ass.
Luckily, he had painkillers. Metaphorically, and literally.
