Dan and I didn’t meet up in the remainder of the week we had off from Uni; my had Dad freaked out about what happened with the hospital and all that, and insisted Dan wasn’t responsible enough to have been in my company (he’s a d*ck at times), so he didn’t want me being with him for a while. Although I cried for a few nights since then, I did keep talking to him throughout the week via messaging...It killed me when he insisted taking me out for a meal and I had to decline. He’d asked me why so many times, and I distinctly remember explaining down the phone to him about what my Dad had said, but Dan was understanding and just said “Maybe some other time” before hanging up. Great. But that part was over. It had been weeks since the incident, no scars to show memories of the fight or hard feelings between Dan and I; Lorna and Laila still weren’t talking to me, but I wasn’t getting any more trouble which was pretty good I guess...I’m a loner, right? I was back in my music lessons with Kyle Woody and Will and I always caught myself smiling more whenever I’m with them.A rocky road grew smoother in the weeks gone by, but you can’t live an easy life forever. Now I can just say in four easy words... I got kicked out. I KNOW: Short and snappy. Yep, just imagine being a University student and having your Dad throw you out of the house because you had a fight over something pretty stupid. Okay, now imagine him throwing your belongings out of the window, better right? Of course it is... It’s probably worse considering I had nowhere to go and I was still needed to get to University...
*Getting kicked out*
“What is your problem with me?” I practically screamed at him, “You make out I’m the worst thing this family has to offer, bloody Richard gets away with murder it seems” – “DON’T BRING YOUR BROTHER INTO THIS! If you’d just grow up Tamilia and stop acting like a child and be more responsible, maybe you wouldn’t have lost the money! USE YOUR INIATIVE” he shouted back at me, face looking like a pimple ready to burst. I shook my head at him, scowling. Basically, I’d lost £20 that my Mum had given me to go get some shopping, but it must have slipped out of my pocket, and I was getting shouted at for it. So now I was being blamed for every bad thing that has ever happened to this family, and am being forced to take another wave of my dad’s anger. “I just can’t believe how inconsiderate you are Dad! You practically bash my future, you humiliate me and expect me to be okay with that? You make a mistake, we forget about it. I make a mistake; you never let it down no matter how many times I apologise!” I had said this to him a million times before, but he never heeded my words. “Well maybe you should start being an adult and stop being so dependant, you cost us a fortune!” at this point I mimicked him under my breath with things like you’re a failure; you’re stupid, blah blah. Buuuuut...He heard me; and this just says how my home life ended...
“I AM BLOODY SICK OF YOU AND YOUR BEHAVIOUR, IF YOU DON’T LIKE HOW THIS HOUSE IS RUN; I’M NOT HAVING YOU UNDER THE SAME ROOF AS ME. GET OUT NOW” He screeched. I flinched and stepped back; I scoffed. “Fine, FINE. I’ll remember treasure this moment forever” and my sarcastic reply followed with him running upstairs and grabbing my possessions, and throwing them from the top floor. From inside, it looked like it was raining clothes (but he didn’t throw my laptop, he’s not stupid enough to break something he got with his money) I growled and ran outside the door, shouting up at him to stop it. He ignored me.
