Nightfall

Fresh Start

It was the average night, the moon high in the sky, stars filling up what seemed to

be never-ending darkness. Nothing unusual, except, there was no place cars

roaming the streets of Hallow Road. There were no sirens of a fire truck or an

ambulance trying to rush someone to the nearest hospital. Just the average joe

sitting down on his couch with his family watching the only tv in the house. The

channel set to channel CBS, where they were making a special attribute to the

girls who were found dead at the bottom of a cliff. Those two girls just happened

to be Alan's twin sisters, Beth and Sandy. Those two girls just happened to be part

of the group that Alan ran. Those two girls were the victims of a cruel prank that

caused them to run away from a place they once felt secured and loved. Alan just

happened to be in front of the tv when they made the dedication to his sisters. He

had also recently stopped taking his medicine to help with his Anxiety Disorder

that he was diagnosed with when he found his sisters. While watching the

program, he decided to call up the rest of his friends that had been part of

the group but had dismembered two years ago. They had all taken it pretty hard

especially Adrian, Beth's crush who thought it would be fun to convince her to get

naked with friends hiding in the room. So Alan finally got them to all show up after

some convincing; Sarah, Stephany, Kim (Kimberly), Lester, and of course Adrian.

When they all agreed, Alan thought it would be nice to pick up where things

started, his log cabin that he owned up in the mountains.  On his way to pickup

each of them, he remembered something about each of them. Alan had missed

Sarah's beautiful blue eye. It was like looking into an ocean or lake that seemed to

flow on forever. Along with Stephany's way of expressing herself through spunky

clothes that she wore. He missed the way Kim always was sarcastic and liked to

joke around so she could forget her pain. Now, when it came to Lester and Adrian,

they always reminded Alan of Beth and Sandy because those four were always

together no matter what. But Alan didn't really care for Lester or Adrian because

they had done sketchy things in the past and it gave Alan an iffy feeling.
