((I haven't actually gotten around to watching a lot of WhisperedFaith so I apologise, Lexx is probably written extremely OOC in this one.))

A home sickness for a home you can't return to, or never was.

Curious. Insanely curious. Grinning to himself, HABIT glanced around the bloodied basement, seemingly impressed by the carnage that still left residue of terror, like a rainstorm that left the warm air behind. A copper-like stench remained in the room, seeping through the air like death. Nothing like the smell of blood as a wake-up call, HABIT concluded. Narrowing his eyes as the sudden change in the atmosphere, he chuckled, "Seems I've got a stalker." He chimed, tilting his head to the right and raising an eyebrow as an unimpressed appearing female hastily drew a knife from her pocket,

"Who the fuck are you and how did you get in here?" She questioned, a stern expression plastered onto her face as HABIT turned to face her, that grin still plastered onto his lips,

"If I were you, hot stuff, I'd put the knife down."

"If I were you, I'd back the fuck up." Lexx challenged, unmoving as her eyes tracked his every move. The air was tense and there was something extremely dangerous about this man. It was obvious something was up. The man let a dark chuckle escape his lips, and there was something awfully familiar about him,

"Wow, is that a challenge?" He questioned, taking a step closer to the woman. Lexx impulsively stepped backwards as he approached her,

"You didn't answer my question."

"You're the leader of the extensive Family, right? Lexx?" HABIT responded, as if side tracked by a different thought. The dark haired woman nodded,

"Correct, who's asking?"

"Oh, where are my manners? I'm HABIT, pleasure to meet you." The entity responded as he shrugged, giving a mocking bow. Lexx, however, was unnerved by the situation. Letting her arm fall to her side, she cocked an eyebrow,

"HABIT, huh? Where've I heard the name before?"

"Bad news travels fast in small worlds, Lexx. You of all people should fuckin' know that by now." He responded, heaving a sigh as his eyes travelled across the room once more; assessing the situation and what had obviously occurred. Still, her question had not been answered. How did he get in, and now even more questions ran through her mind as she observed the man. Was he even human? Looking back to her, and chuckling, HABIT stared; a challenging gaze. Dangerous. This male was really beginning to irk her, but her curiosity had also peaked. Folding her arms across her chest, the female shifted, "Are you ever going to answer my question?" She asked, observing him closely. He was obviously armed, a knife was concealed by its sheath at his hip. Not human either, judging by the tension in the air. HABIT shrugged,

"Depends what you want to ask. How do you fuckin' think I got in?" He responded dryly, "Besides, I think you've clocked it, who I am, I mean."

Lexx's coloured lips curled into a smile, "Hm, you'd assume wrong, stranger." She retorted, which to HABIT's amusement.

"Does the channel name EverymanHYBRID ring a bell? Or, TribeTwelve?" He questioned, seemingly bored. Another thing Lexx made sure to note for future reference; he had many mood swings in quick succession, apparently. Or had the concentration levels of a child. Surprisingly, however, those channel names did in fact ring a bell. Vaguely, she recognised HABIT's voice and face, and it clicked in place. An amused smile made its way to her face

"Ah. It makes sense now, so what brings you here of all places, HABIT?" She questioned. This entity was volatile and extremely dangerous. He wasn't going to kill her, however, but she wouldn't rule out the possibility just in case. On guard and aware of her surroundings. Always.

HABIT grinned with sudden amusement, "Curiosity, mostly. You've caused quite the controversy in the community of otherworldly assholes, for being a human. I wanted to see what the fuss was about, and I can kinda see what the fuck the issue is." He replied honestly, as Lexx simply chuckled in reply, a light shrug of her shoulders as she thought of a response,

"Well, not my fault it was decided that I could do the job better than anyone else could." The female spoke truthfully, as HABIT nodded in agreement before chuckling once more,

"Wow. Not often you find willing humans that take this shit and just deal with it."

"Not often you come into contact with otherworldly assholes and don't get some form of scarring." Lexx retorted quickly, earning a whistle from HABIT.

"Spitfire." He stated, amused by the female. It really was not often you came into contact with a human, a female at that, who would be literally CHOSEN to be put in charge of a cult formed by some entity that looked horrific and acted horrifically. As well as brutally tore apart anyone and everything in its wake. You could definitely say that HABIT was indeed impressed and obviously amused by what he had seen, and who he had come into contact with. Cocking his head to the side, his eyes scanned Lexx,

"I'm actually fucking impressed."

"I am quite impressive." Lexx replied, a soft chuckle leaving her lips as HABIT shook his head in a playful manner. Sighing after a moment of silence, he shrugged,

"Well, I've got people to see and things to kill. Shall I see you another time?"

"Hopefully it'll be as pleasant as this meeting." Lexx scoffed, before HABIT grinned ominously,

"You never know what the future holds, cutie. Keep your eyes peeled." He mused, before Lexx moved to the side and let him past. Almost seconds later, the man had vanished. Lexx still knew so little about him, that's what made him so ominous in her eyes. But, it was a pleasant encounter if you put it next to all of the other ones Lexx had experienced. Eyes lingering on the doorway, she shook her head as a soft frown graced her painted lips. She had a feeling that the next time they met, it would not be as friendly.
