(Renae)
I cheered as Uraka released her trap. "You show that son of a -" "That's not very ladylike." I smiled up at Iida. "Who said that I'm a lady." He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. I blushed. "Right." His phone suddenly rang and he glanced at me before answering and walking off. I peered at him for awhile before shaking my head and turning back to the match. Seeing the stage on fire, I groaned. Of course, he won. Shaking my head, I walked back to the waiting room and grinned as they announced my match against Bakugo. He walked in and saw my grin, then matched it with a smirk. "We'll see whose stronger; you, or me."
I stood across from Bakugo. Midnight looked from me to Bakugo and gulped nervously before readying her flag. "Let's have a fair fight now." She let the flag drop. "Let the match begin." She moved away as Bakugo sprinted toward me with a bloodthirsty grin. "Die!" He threw a hook and I barely had time to duck. Feeling the heat of his explosion, I grimaced and slapped my hands on the ground and kicked upwards, laughing when I felt my foot connect with a satisfying crunch and grunt. My laughter quickly faded as he grabbed my foot and set off an explosion. I spun and kicked his wrist with my other foot and backflipped away, landing in a crouch. I looked up to see Bakugo scowling. "Stop jumping around like some weird trained monkey!" Grinning, I spoke in a tone usually reserved for talking to babies. "Aww is widdle Bakugo to slow to keep up? Aww, poor widdle explodo boy." He shouted indignantly and charged, explosions bursting from his hands. I laughed and flipped away again before sending a kick to his side. He grunted and flew a couple of feet, stopping just before the edge of the ring.
(An hour later)
I paused as I felt a hand on my shoulder. Midnight looked at Bakugo and me with a look of contempt. "After a discussion with the board, this fight ends in a draw. Bakugo and Renae will both share first place." Cheers erupted from the crowd and I turned to face Bakugo sheepishly. He just rolled his eyes and offered me a hand. "Oh well. At least I'm sharing it with you and not some loser." I grinned and grabbed his hand. "Thanks, man." I yanked his arm towards me and embraced him in a weird half-hug. He stiffened, but soon relaxed and hugged me back.
Later that week, I gulped nervously before walking forward and picking up the case containing my hero suit. Sending one last glance to Tenya, I followed Izuku onto the train. I sat beside him and jolted a bit when the train began to move. He looked over at me with concern but I just laughed. "Caught me off guard." He nodded and resumed his study of the window. A couple hours passed before I felt the train slow to a stop.
I looke over to Izuku. "What was that? He showed me his phone. "I think Iida went looking for revenge." I paled before starting to run. Izuku quickly caught up to me. "Wait!" I turned just in time for him to punch me straight in the gut. "I'm sorry. He doesn't want you to get hurt." I fell to my knees. He raised his fist and slammed it over my head. As my face fell to the pavement, I could see his feet running away. Unable to hold on any longer, I slipped into unconsciousness.
When I awoke, the city was on fire. I groggily sat up before remembering what happened. Racing to the address, I prayed I wasn't too late. I arrived just in time to block an attack that would have incapacitated Stain. The force blew Izuku Tenya Bakugo and Shouto. When the dust cleared, I could feel their eyes on me. Tenya was the first to speak. "Renae! What are you doing?!" I lowered my head. "When I lived with my parents, he was the only one that defended me. They didn't hurt me when he was there. Please, just go! Pretend you didn't see him!" He looked back at me with shock before gritting his teeth. "I should have seen it back when the League of Villians attacked. When you killed that man, you were smiling. You were insane. You would have killed them all if All Might hadn't stopped you. You're just like them. You're a murderer. You're a villain." I gasped and felt a tear make it's way down my cheek. "No..." Even the others looked at him with shock. Tenya just looked at me. "Move. Let us take down this killer." I shook my head before letting out a sob. "I won't let you hurt him." I looked up at him with a determined glare. "I won't let you hurt my brother!"
