Someone that I thought loved me the most is dead now. Don't ask me what I did, because its clearly, obvious. He did the most unthinkable thing. But before I tell you, I guess the saying goes, I can show you better than I can tell you.

Derrick's alarm went off first. As it always did. He turned it off rolling over planting tiny kisses on my back and shoulder. I face him kissing his forehead.
"Good morning Sunshine". He smiled at the sight of me.
"Good morning". I smiled back.
We both got out of bed.
"So what is up with Ms. CEO of her own fashion line?". He questioned from our bedroom.
"Nothing much, but the line is almost complete and once it is, the fashion line will launch and we will be rolling in them big bills". I emphasized.
"Wow. And to think you built that place from the ground up". He marveled.
"I couldn't have done it without you". I ran my thumb across his lip.
"I wouldn't say that". He kissed my forehead.
I showered and washed my hair.
I did my makeup as usual and got dressed for work.
I was the CEO of my own company by the name of Bossy Brands. It had taken me years to finally get it up and running. And with the help of Derrick and some of his money, I was able to get my brands on every celebrity in the world.
Derrick hopped in the shower after me.
I went into the kitchen of our one bedroom home and began making breakfast for Derrick. He was a man who could be won over by any home cooked meal.
Today was special. It was our five year anniversary. Derrick and I have been married for five years.
"Baby, its smelling good up in here!". Derrick came into the kitchen wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Stop before you start something". I giggled.
"Maybe that's the plan". He kissed my neck.
I put breakfast on two plates. I had cooked up bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes.
"Here baby". I handed him his plate and a knife and fork.
"Thank you baby". He began to eat.
I poured him some coffee and handed him the mug.
"So I hear that Payton is having a baby". I hoped he would give this another thought by me bringing up his little sister.
"Baby, I told you, a kid right now, thats not something I want. With the law firm promoting me to CEO, I need more time to get things balanced". He repeated for the tenth time.
"All I'm saying is, a baby would be good for us". I attempted to reason.
"Look, I know you want kids Jeanie. I don't right now". He ended the conversation.
"Fine. I guess it's all about you". I mumbled defeated.
"Jeanie, please baby. It is not all about me. All I'm saying is that with your brand taking off and me getting promoted, a baby isn't the best thing to add to our lives". He reasoned.
"I know, but I really want to be a Mother". I poked my lip out.
He came around the island putting his plate in the sink.
