Chapter 1

In Southern High
Megan's prov: "My name is Megan, I'm 16 years of age and I have parents that are in a gang, they did offer me a place but I said no because I want to be able to get a good education and job, I don't want to be like everyone else I want to be different and that's what I plan on doing"
James said "hey"
Megan said "hey"

Jame and Megan kiss. They hold hands

Mike said "get a room"
Nova said "baby, leave them alone"

Megan laughs

Megan said "its alright"
Mike said "I was joking anyways"
Josè said "what was you joking about?"
Mike said "Josè, this is Megan and her boyfriend James"
Josè said "alright"

Megan smiles

James said "alright, im gonna go to P.E"
Megan said "ok"

James and Megan kiss

James said "love you"
Megan said "love you too"

James walks away

Nova said "are you gonna break up with him?"
Megan said "I honestly dont know what im doing anymore, I'll erm, catch you later"

Megan walks away

Josè said "is she alright?"
Mike said "I hope so"

After school

Josè said "hey"
Megan said "hi, Jose, right?"
Josè said "yeah, your Megan?"
Megan said "that's me"

Josè and Megan start walking home

Josè said "are you ok from earlier?"
Megan said "yeah"
Josè said "I didn't mean to listen in on your converstation with Nova"
Megan said "don't worry about it, I just don't know what to do about the whole situation"
Josè said "you can talk to me"
Megan said "erm yeah, James cheated on me, a few weeks back and my trust and love for him has faded and I feel like im leading him on"
Josè said "your not leading him on, your just confused on what to do in the situation"
Megan said "I guess so"
Josè said "see, logic"

Megan laughs

Megan said "this is my stop"
Josè said "I'll see you later Megs"
Megan said "see you later Josè"
Megan walks into her house. She signs. She smiles
Megan prov: "I think Josè is really lovely and he helped me to make my a decision on what to do with the situation that im in, which was nice of him to do"
In Josè house. He signs. He smiles.
Josè prov: "Megan is completely different to all the other girls but its a good different, I want to get to know her more, I need to know her"

The next day

Josè said "hey"
Megan said "hey"
Josè said "you alright?"
Megan said "yeah, im gonna break up with James"
Josè said "good, I mean, you deserve better"
Megan said "thank you"
Bells ring
Josè said "I'll be here, if you need me
Megan said ok, thank you"
Megan and Josè hug. James walks in. He takes a step back. In 1st lesson.
James said "I saw you and Josè hug"
Megan said "we're just friends James"
James said "didn't seem like that when you hugged"
Megan said "are you accusing me of cheating?, great one"
James said "did you?"
Megan said "no, James, I didn't cheat on you"

Megan scoffs

James said "what?"
Megan said "I can't do this no more, my trust and love for you, had faded, it's over"
James said "is it because you like him?, thats why you breaking up with me?"
Megan said "I'm not you, James, I dont get out of relationships and jump straight into another one or shag someone that same night"

Megan grabs her bag. She walks out. James scoffs

Josè said "hey"
Megan said "hey"
Josè said "you alright?"
Megan said "yeah, I've ended things with James"
Josè said "good, I mean you deserve better"
Megan said "so do you?, catch you later"

Megan leaves school. Outside a house. Megan knocks on the door.
Katie said "hey"
Megan said "hey, is my brother here?"
Katie said "yeah, come in"
Megan said "thank you"
Megan walks in. Katie shuts the door.
Katie said "baby, guess who's here?"
Kain said "the midget"

Katie laughs

Megan said "that's mean"
Kain said "whole point, sis"

Megan and Kain hug

Megan said "hello, would be nice"
Kain said "hello"
Megan said "hi"
Kain said "what brings you here?"
Megan said "you'll be glad to hear, me and James aren't together"
Kain said "finally my prayers were answered"
Megan said "shut up"
Kain said "joking, how are you coping?"
Megan said "better then I would have expected"
Kain said "thats good"
Katie said "coffee?"
Both said "please"

Both laugh.Hours later

Megan said "I better start walking home, it's getting dark"
Kain said "ok"
Katie said "see you later"
Megan said "bye"
Megan leaves. She closes the door. In an alleyway. Someone grabs Megan. She screams
Josè prov: "that sounds like Megan"
Megan said "get off me"
Josè said "get off her"

Josè punches someone

Megan said "Josè?"

Josè hugs Megan

Josè said "lets get out of here"
In Josè's house. Josè gives Megan hot chocolate.
Megan said "thank you"
Josè said "no problem, your gonna stay here for a few days so I know your safe"
Megan said "ok"

Megan puts her cup down

Josè said "what happened?"
Megan said "I went to see my brother and we got talking and then I left to go home and next thing I know, im being grabbed through any alley way, if it wasnt for you, I think something could have happened"
Josè said "im not gonna let anyone hurt you, I promise"

Josè puts a strand of hair behind

Megans ear. They kiss.
Megan said "I feel sleepy"
Josè said "way to ruin the moment"
Megan said "sorry"
Josè said "you can sleep in my room"
Megan said "trying to get in my dms, already, jheez boi"
Josè said "shut up"

Megan giggles

Megan said "speaking my mind"

In Josè's room

Josè said "you can wear this"

Josè gives Megan his top

Megan said "thank you"

Megan goes in the bathroom. She changes. She walks back in Josè's room. She gets in the bed. Josè turns around.

Josè said "trying to get in my dms already"
Megan said "shut up"

Jose gets in the bed. He turns the TV on. They fall asleep.
