The sun was streaming through the crack in the curtains the next morning as Isabella opened her eyes slowly. She glanced up to look at Lucky's face, considering she was lying on his chest. He was still asleep, his chest rising and falling slowly while his arm was wrapped around her waist firmly.
Isabella found herself grinning, shuffling up and pressing her lips against his cheek softly. He shifted slightly in his sleep, pulling her closer subconsciously. She giggled quietly, kissing down his jawline and neck.
She knew he was awake once his other arm wrapped around her, so she brought her kisses up to his cheek again so she could peck his lips. Lucky was wide awake now, and smiling as he watched her.
Isabella gasped once he flipped them over so he was hovering over her, growling, "that's how I want to be woken up every morning."
"With kisses?" She smiled, and he shrugged with a smirk, "with you in my arms. But the kisses, also."
"As you wish," Isabella giggled, cupping his cheek as she kissed him on the lips. He kissed back, pressing his body against hers. She moaned softly into the kiss, and he broke the kiss to kiss down her neck slowly, kissing down to her collarbone as she panted softly.
"I don't want to do anything you don't want to," Lucky mumbled against her skin, and she looked down at him. He moved so his face was a centimetre from her's. Isabella bit her lip as she looked up at him.
"Can we wait?" She asked quietly, "I mean, I want to... just not yet."
Lucky smiled as he kissed her nose, "I would wait forever for you, my queen."
Her cheeks burned red and he chuckled, laying on his back again as he pulled her up against his chest. She sighed happily, laying her head under his own.
"I've never been this happy before," Isabella admitted, looking up as he looked down at her, "in my whole life, my parents always made me feel... like I was never good enough. Like there was more I could do to make other people happy. But moving in with you, leaving them... it's the first selfish thing I've done. And I've never been happier."
Lucky growled as he pulled her as close as possible, "you deserve the world. You have to know that. You really are a queen. But I promise you now, there's not gonna be a day where you feel pressured to please other people. I'm going to protect you from every single little thing, I promise."
"Lucky, I love you," Isabella sighed out happily, and he looked at her with wide eyes, "I don't know why I was afraid to tell you, but I am. I am head over heels in love with you."
"Baby, I love you too. And I always will," Lucky admitted, and he had never seen a smile like hers in that moment. She leaned up and kissed him softly, before resting her head against his chest, listening to the lulling sound of his heartbeat.
