It's been around an hour of endless dragging and tall spruce trees. I wondered if I will ever see any other people from now to the rest of my life other than these eight men. I talked to some of them, but they mostly ignored my presence completely.
Could you say rude? This is just great. First I wake up in the middle of nowhere, meet fucked up men, the men started acting weird and now I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere with these men.
Do they even know where they are going? Apparently not. I sighed. We went on for another thirty minutes.
“We are here.” Leader dude said.
“The only question is, where is here?” I said with a snort.
He glared at me and then continued walking, dragging me along with them. I looked up to see a huge house. It was really rare to find a house or cottage with two stories, but this one had about four stories.
It was probably not only his house because there was other people here. Most people would probably gawk at it like an idiot, but that wouldn't be me because I seen better. Castle better, Redmount castle.
Some people looked at me in surprise, others looked at me in hatred. Okay, back up. Why is everyone being so rude to me today? Did I killed tee? Of course not! I glared at the people who looked at me in hatred, and surprisingly, they glared at me tenfold.
“So . . .” I trailed off, loud enough for everyone to hear me. “This is pack house? What a dump.”
“You are just saying that to embarrass us.” Said one person from the growing crowd.
“Actually,” I said. “I have actually seen better. Castle better.”
Some looked at me in surprise and others rolled their eyes. Leader dude's glare darkened, if that was even possible. He continued to drag me into the pack house, ignoring the massive crowd already formed.
“Are you the leader of all of these people, leader dude?” I asked.
He gritted his teeth. “No, but I will be soon.” He answered with pride. “And if my father doesn't kill you for the rest of his life being the alpha, I will kill you myself as soon as I am alpha.”
“Wow,” I responded, in mock surprise. “he is probably a nice man and great alpha if he is kind enough to spare the life of innocent me.”
“You are not innocent and he was also a great father. The best.” He said.
“I don't want you to get all teary eyed with me. At least your father wasn't as mean as mine and not as mean as the king.” I said.
A pair of doors opened and a man in a grey suit and with a kind smile—
“WHY DO I SMELL ROUGE!?” The kind smile man said. Or now mad face, 'cause his face was mad as a hornet.
“Father,” Responded Leader dude. “I was doing some work in your office when—”
I interrupted him. “Wow, you work on your father's things? And you don't get in trouble? That's weird. One time I was looking at my father's stuff when he—”
I was interrupted by Leader dude's father. “DON’T SPECK, ROUGE!” Never mind. Leader dude's father is way more meaner than my father and the king. And that's something.
Everybody cowered away from his powerful voice. I flinched, nobody saw me. Even though I was more confident, and even if his powerful voice didn't work, I still couldn't get rid of my abusive father. Selene flinched also. She was sorry for me and horrified of what my father done, she made me confident.
