Chapter 19

Ella's POV

I pack the last of my clothes that I'll need for the trip and grab the remainder of my toiletries, throw it all in my suitcase, which is over packed, and zip it up. I grab a backpack and throw a bunch of thing I could do during the drive, into the bag and zip it up. I set my suitcase and backpack against the wall along with my pillow, extra blankets, and my sleeping bag. I make sure my phone's car charger is in my bag, and walk out of my room to go to Austin's.

"I'm all packed for our trip tomorrow." I say prancing into Austin's room, wearing a pink sun dress.

"I'm almost finished." Austin tells me but I can see straight through his lie.

"You're a boy, your packing won't be done until tomorrow morning an hour before we leave, and it'll have a total of 5 pieces of clothing in it."

"No, you are wrong. I'm going to have more the 5 articles of clothing and it's going to be done tonight." Him saying that makes us laugh because we both know it's not true.

"Will we have enough money for food and anything we want to buy while we're gone?" I ask Austin, worried that we may not have enough.

"Yes Ella, besides we will only be gone for about a week." He replies, reassuring me a little bit.

"Ya, but the car could break down, or we could get lost, then we would be longer than a week." I say making Austin laugh.

"Don't forget toiletries." I give him the reminder.

"Yes Ella I know." He sounds like he's getting a bit mad at me.

"You can never be to safe." I tell him. "Double-check, triple-check, quadruple-check. That's what I do every time I go for a trip."

"Ya, but you always over pack. You bring pants even if we aren't going to need them." He says making us laugh, because we both know that it's true.

"I kinda wish our brothers could come with us." I say thinking of the past week.

Everyone was finally getting along again. I guess my plan actually kinda worked. We were all talking and that was the main thing. Chace and Hunter were planning on going to a party this week, to make sure no girls go through what I had to, even though it is still a bit fuzzy in my mind.

"I'm just glad we can all talk again without someone yelling." Austin says reading my mind.

"So am I." Chace says walking into the room. "Where are you going Austin?" My brother asks gesturing to the suitcase on Austin's floor.

"Ella and I are going on a road trip, remember?" He tells Austin.

"Oh ya, just please don't get drunk, and don't do anything stupid. Either of you." He demands of us.

"Ok, mom!" I yell at him as he leaves the room. "He thinks we are going to do something stupid." I say a bit defensive.

"He's your brother, Ella. He will always think that you are going to do something stupid. Trust me, Hunter is the same way." He says.

"I guess you're right, I say that a lot!" I exclaim.

"Are you just noticing this Ella?" He asks making us laugh.

"No." I reply and turn around to walk out of his room and to my own.

I get in my room and find a package on my bed. It's defiantly not small; I wonder what is in it. It doesn't have a name or a return address. I take a pair of scissors off of my dresser and cut off the tape opening the box. Inside it is a plastic bag type thing that must be holding whatever the object is. I take the scissors again and cut along the dotted line. Inside is a white sun dress with pink roses all over it. Whoever did this must know me pretty well; they know I love dresses and pink roses, even if they are just on the dress. I look into the box and find a folded piece of paper. I open it up and it has a phone number on it. Below the number it says call me.

"What the hell. What's the worst that could happen?" I ask myself.

I go over to my dresser and pick up my phone and type in the ten digits. After only three rings the person answers.

"Hello?" A male with a familiar voice says from the other end of the line.

"Hi, I got a package and it said to call you so I did." I explain to the person I don't know, or maybe I do and just don't know it yet.

"Ella?" The person asks shocked.

"Ya that's me. Who is this?" I respond, slightly creeped out that the person knows my name.

"It's Mark, Mark Samuel." He says happily.

This is the last person in the world I would want to hear on the other end of my phone...

(A/N: Mark Samuel? Who's Mark Samuel? I guess you'll have to wait and find out! Ahahaha! Ella and Austin are going on the road trip tomorrow! How exciting! Maybe they'll be able to rekindle their broken relationship. And hopefully Chace and Hunter will be able to keep another girl from being raped or almost being raped. Hopefully this Mark person won't put any thoughts in Ella's head that'll change her mind about everything. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter. Make sure you vote and comment, every little bit helps. Love you guys!!
