When Daniel offered to drive me home that night I didn't know what to say.
His eyes were extra blue that night. "Daniel what's wrong?" I asked
He looked at me with a concerned face. "Nothing" he responded. But I knew him. When his eyes are piercing blue, he's worried about something. "Daniel, I know your worried. What's wrong"
"It's nothing!" He said, mad now.
"Ok.. just please if something is ever wrong... let me know"
"Nothing is wrong! You need to mind your own business and not judge me by how I look! You barely know me!"
My eyes stung with tears. Did Daniel just yell at me? For no reason? For me, his girlfriend, wanting to make him feel better? I couldn't take it anymore.
"Then if I don't know you well enough to know when your upset, I don't know you well enough to be your girlfriend!"
I ran out the door and practicality sprinted to my house.
I sat in my bed crying. I heard someone open the door.
I had locked the door.
I pulled the covers over my head in fear, and the only thing I could hear were the footsteps coming from the stairs.
My bedroom door opened. Footsteps, nearing my bed.
Then the covers were lifted from my head.
It was corbyn
""Kassidy what happened? Daniels a mess right now!"
"I don't want to talk about it.." I told him
"Well if you don't tell me I'm going to have to tickle you!" He said
"Fine! I broke up with daniel.. well he technically broke up with me.. but I said it.. but he started it.. but-"
"I'm sorry kassidy, but I'm here right now, so can we at least watch a movie or something, get your mind off of it?"
I nodded my head
"Good" He said
He drug me to my living room and put in a movie
"Do you know what it is?" He asked
I shook my head no. "Finding Nemo"
I smiled.. my favorite movie
He sat down and patted for me to sit down too.
I lay my head on his chest and he put his arm around me.
"Thank you corbyn"
"I love you kassidy"
"Love you too corb"
