Monica was relaxing with her back against a Starbucks window and her feet kicked up on the booth seat. She was scrolling through pictures of Lily Collins as her best friend Gemini walked up to the table with two cups. "They spelled my name wrong again," she laughed as she sat down in a chair on the other side of the table and set down the two cups she was holding.

Monica looked up to see Gemani on one of the cups. "Nah it's spelled correctly," Monica smiled as Gemini gave her an uncertain look. "Yeah, 'cause you're ja-man-i want," Monica winked at her and Gemini grabbed the cup closest to Monica and slid it away from her. "Come on it wasn't that bad," Monica whined as she reached for her cup.

"Yeah, it was much worse," Gemini said as she hesitantly slid the cup over to Monica and took a sip of her own drink.

"Fine. It was bad, but that's no excuse to take away my life source," Monica huffed and went back to her phone.

"Are you looking at Lily Collins again?" she asked and leaned over the table to look at Monica's phone. Without hesitating, Monica turned the phone to Gemini and showed her a picture of Lily Collins.

"This is pure beauty," Monica said and Gemini laughed.

"You're really gay. And she's not even that pretty. She just has really good eyebrows."

Exactly, Monica thought but didn't say anything.

"Anywhere on a different subject, since you obviously can't see beauty. Have you found anywhere interesting that are looking for employees?" Monica asked and sipped her coffee.

"No. I told you that you have to actually go out and look for a job, like a normal person," Gemini sighed as if she was talking to a child.

Suddenly the bell over the door rang and a tall girl with her blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail walked in. Of course, Monica didn't notice the fact she was walking in with a boy or that she was wearing name brand expensive clothes. Nope. Monica didn't care about that. All she cared about was the two neat bushes above her eyes that perfectly fit her face.  "Look," Monica said to Gemini without a second thought. Gemini followed Monica's eyes over to the girl and laughed.

"What? You want me to make fun of how stuck up she looks? I'm confused."

"Nah. She's going to be next girlfriend," Monica smiled and took a sip of her coffee watching as the girl approached the counter.

"Monica. Are you insane? She's way out of your league. In fact, you don't have a league. Not to mention she's a hundred percent straight," Gemini shook her head but Monica was already planning how to approach the girl.

"Come on everyone knows girls like that are like spaghetti, they're straight until they get wet," Monica said completely seriously and Gemini choked on her coffee spraying droplets of overpriced coffee all over the table.

Monica took off the lid of her coffee and got ready to sacrifice a perfectly good cup of coffee. Gemini was just starting to realize what Monica was doing as Monica got up and walked over to the counter where the covers for the coffee was. The same place the girl was walking towards. And timing it carefully Monica took a step forward and the girl not being able to stop in time bumped into her spilling coffee all over her shirt.

Monica yelled realizing that though the move might have been smooth, it was also painful, as the coffee was still hot. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!" the girl yelled and went to grab some napkins.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, hot, owwww, Monica thought but pushed past the pain.

"I-it's okay," she said as the girl started to dab at her shirt with the napkins.

"No, I'm really sorry. I'll buy you a new coffee," she said and grabbed more napkins.

"I'm really okay. Though you could pay me back with your name," Monica tried while cringing at her horrible pick up line and the girl stopped dabbing at Monica's shirt. As if she realized that a girl helping another girl with something she could easily do, she shoved the napkins into Monica's hands.

"U-uh I'm-"

"Becca, babe, what are you doing?" a guy interrupted and threw his arms over her shoulders. She looked slightly uncomfortable and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"I accidentally bumped into someone and they spilled coffee on them," she told him and he smiled finally realizes Monica's existence.

"Oh. Sorry about my girlfriend she's a bit clumsy sometimes. Do you want me to pay you for the coffee or shirt?" he asked and Monica shook her head.

"No I'm quite alright," she smiled at Becca, and then as Becca got distracted by someone else walking in Monica shot the guy with Becca a sharp glare that he seemed quite confused about. Finally grabbing a cover she covered her coffee she turned and walked back over to Gemini.

"What was that?" she asked and Monica smiled and grabbed the cover she had left on the table hoping Becca didn't see she already had a cover for her coffee.

"We're going," Monica said and walked out of the Starbucks with Gemini hurrying behind her.

"Did you even get her number?" Gemini asked once they were outside.

"Nope."

"Then why are you so happy?" Gemini asked and Monica turned to her.

"She looks like someone that goes there often right?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"You have a friend that works at Starbucks right?" Monica asked and Gemini was even more confused than before.

"Yeah...why?"

"Can I have their number?" Monica asked and Gemini didn't like the gleam in her eyes. She knew that too well, it normally ended with something going terribly wrong.

"What are you thinking now?"

"I think I know where I'm getting a job."
