A couple have been looking for a male child for a very long time because according to tradition, only the male child(ren) is/are important. Any female child will will be abandoned because they are not responsible as far as they are concerned.
They tried different means to have a male child but all the methods was resulting to giving birth to a female child.
The young girl was not cared for at all even there was a time that the father beat the mother to coma because she had a female child and at a time, the girl was sent out of the house just because she vomited on the flour.
She faced many things to the extent that she do go to neighbors to beg for food to eat which resulted to been raped by one of the neighbors who saw that as an opportunity to lure her in and rape her.
She was in this problem until when a samarithan who happens to be a widow saw her and decided to make the girl her daughter.
She girl was given a good treatment by the window but the thought of been abandoned and rejected by her parents kept coming.
The girl went to one of the best school in town and was successful and she later became a renowned medical doctor.
