The New Kid

Keith sighed as the taxi pulled up at his new school,new year, new school, new me well to Keith that was all but a bunch of nonsense, you're still the same person just older,  he got out and already he knew he was going to hate it, everyone seemed to happy, welcoming and full of popular kids, Keith wasn't any of those things. people were already staring at him and whispering. 

A small girl or boy walked up to Keith "Hey I'm Pidge i will be your guide around the horri-i mean amazing school  and before you ask I'm not a boy or a girl, I'm gender fluid, anyways you're the new kid the teacher's told us about follow me!" Pidge said a cheery way, almost a little too cheery that it seemed fake. Keith followed Pidge half wishing he stayed in the taxi because the wouldn't. stop. talking. 

After what seemed like hours Pidge showed Keith where the front desk was then they walked away. "Whats your name?" the woman behind the desk asked "Keith Kogane" Keith replied "oh yes Keith, here is your timetable, room key and welcome to Altea high" the woman said with a smile, Keith didn't say another word to her he just wanted to survive this year with as little socializing as possible. he trudged up the stairs and read the room number on his key 'room W 22', He hoped his roommate was a anti-social as he was so he wouldn't have to make small talk with a complete stranger, he turned the key to his dorm and all his hopes were broken when he stepped into the messiest room he had ever seen and on a bed to the left sat a tall tan boy with brown hair and blue eyes who was laughing at random memes. 

The boy noticed Keith and sat up "yo you must be the new kid, I'm Lance, Lance McClain what's your name" the boy asked, Keith didn't say anything he just pushed old cans of the spare bed and sat his stuff on it "okay not really much of a talking i get it" Lance said flopping down on his bed and looked at his phone again "by the way why did you choose this school out of all the wonderful schools why this one?" Lance asked, Keith glared at him "sorry dude I'm just curious" Lance said. "Because it was the cheapest" Keith replied not showing any emotion what so ever, he put his stuff away then sat on his bed and decided to text his friends. 

- Sunday 10:00 am ' i.drank.bleach' entered the chatroom-

Keith put his phone on the bed side table and flopped onto the bed, "dude how are you tired its like 10:30" Lance said "i woke up at 11:00 pm to get on a plane then i had a one hour taxi ride" Keith said with a serious tone "did you have to come a different country" Lance joked "yes  I came from Korea now stop talking" Keith said. Lance didn't say anything else, he had tried to be nice to the new kid but he was just rude back, Lance had hoped to be his roommates fried but it looks like that wasn't going to happen.
