Best Friends(Charlie Puth)

Y/N POV*
I've known Charlie Puth since 6th grade he was the sweet nerdy kid. We would talk to each other all the time, talking about school, friends ,crushes... talking about crushes was extra awkward for me because well I liked Charlie. I never told him.... at least for a long time.
Charlie and I were growing up, but growing up also meant learning life lessons, losing friends, gaining friends. Charlie was changing for the worst, he became popular, his grades dropped like a rock off a mountain, he was no longer the Charlie I knew.
When 9th grade hit Charlie was so different, he didn't talk to me anymore(song reference 😉) him and I were no longer friends. At school he talked to me for the first time in two years " hey y/n... so.... how have you been"
Charlie knew I was angry, I sarcastically said back " oh just fine and dandy..."
he cheerfully smiled " oh! That's great."
I snapped " Do you no know what sarcasm is!"
He looked down, anger spread across his face " sorry I was just trying to make the loner feel better!!"
My face felt so hot, I exploded "I'm not a loner!! I'm so glad I'm moving to Utah today!! 'Cause I can leave pathetic people like you!!"
I raised my hand asking to use the restroom just so I could cool for minute.
Charlie's POV*
Me and y/n had been friends for what felt like ever, lately we haven't talked. Every time I said hi or walked up to y/n she would walk away, I thought maybe she was just lonely and needed a friend so I decided today was the day I was gonna talk to her. After all it was a new year we were staring highschool! I walked up to y/n and I kinda awkwardly said " hey y/n.... so.... how have you been"
I know she's angry I can tell but she replies with "oh just fine and dandy"
I cheerfully smiled thinking she was being truthful I replied "oh! That's great."
She quickly snapped back at me saying " Do you not know what sarcasm is!"
I quickly looked down I was so angry I was just trying to be nice suddenly I just snapped " sorry I was just trying to make the loner feel better!"
I realized what I said and y/n looked angry... she exploded saying " I'm not a loner!! I'm so glad I'm moving to Utah today!! 'Cause I can leave pathetic people like you!!"
She left and went to the bathroom. Damn I never knew y/n could snap like that, I've always known her to be the gentle quiet type. I ask to go to the bathroom so I can talk to her about this.
Y/n POV*
As I ran to the bathroom I broke down in tears, how could Charlie ever say that! How did he turn out like this, I still like him and he's just a dick now. I was crying by the sinks I hear footsteps I assumed it was somebody going to use the bathroom. Suddenly I hear a familiar voice "y/n..."
