Taehyung was sitting at his desk, leaning on his hand trying not to fall asleep. While he was just minding his own business trying to stay awake, someone pushes his arm out from under him making his head fall against the desk. "Ow what the hell!" he whispers while turning to Jimin. "What? You looked like you were gonna fall asleep so I woke you up." Jimin said while snickering. Taehyung ignored him and turned back to the teacher while rubbing his forehead.
"Do you guys wanna play a game?" He heard Jungkook whisper from behind him. They both turn around to show they're interested. "So the game is that we'll all raise our hands to answer his question and whoever gets called on gets a point. Whoever gets the most points wins!" Jungkook explains excitedly.
"What does the winner get?" Taehyung asks. "The losers could buy the winner something when we all go to the mall this weekend." Jungkook answers. "I'll keep track of points." Jimin says before Taehyung and him turn back around. "This is honestly kinda dumb." Taehyung says while quickly turning back around. Jungkook ignores him and goes to hit him but Taehyung turns around before he can.
"Does anybody have an answer to question 5?" The teacher asks. The three of their hands shoot up but Jungkook was faster. "Jungkook?" The teacher asks and then Jungkook says his answer. "Good job Jungkook. Okay next question." Jungkook makes a face at Taehyung and Jimin to make sure they know he's better than them.
Jimin rolls his eyes while giving Jungkook a point. The teacher asks another question and Jimins hand goes up right away. "Phenotype." Jimin says confidently but the teacher just says wrong. As Jimin goes to give himself a point Taehyung starts quietly yelling at him. "Hey hey hey you didn't get it right why you giving yourself a point?" "Uh because I was faster." Jimin replies.
"You have to actually get it right stupid." Jungkook says from behind them. "HUH that was never a rule!"
"Mr.Park please quiet down." The teacher says. "Sorry." Jimin says quietly turning back. He pouts sadly at his desk while he waits for the teachers next questions. As the game goes on Jungkook has 15 points, Taehyung with 13, and Jimin with 5.
"How do you have more than me?" Jimin says in disbelief to Taehyung. "Listen I know i'm dumb when it comes to other classes but i'm a genius when it comes to science." Taehyung says while laughing. "Yeah whatever stop being cocky." Jimin replies while laughing too. Jimin is almost never called on and when he is he mostly gets it wrong.
How can this even be happening? Jimin thinks to himself.
"Nothing goes right for you huh?" Jungkook says while snickering. "BE QUIET!" Jimin yells and gets glared at by the teacher so he mumbles a sorry. He's gonna get kicked out of class if he doesn't start being quiet, this games stressing him out.
It's 10 minutes later and Jimin hasn't gotten any points. "I don't like this game." Jimin says while dramatically laying his head down. "It's because you suck at it." Taehyung and Jungkook say in unison while laughing. "What would the kids most likely look like if the dad had brown hair, blue eyes, and dimples and the mom had blonde hair, brown eyes, and dimples."
Jimin shoots his hand up not even thinking about the answer because he can do that later. "Jimin?" The teacher says while pointing at him. "Brown hair, brown eyes, and dimples?" Jimin says more of a question than an answer. "Correct!" the teacher says surprised he actually got it correct. Jimin can't even hold his excitement and starts laughing at Jungkook and Taehyung while giving himself a point.
"HAHHAHA who is the GENIUS at science NOWWWW!" Jimin says yelling some of the parts. "Jimin get out and come back when you've learned to control yourself." The teacher says

Jimin walks out of class hearing the whole class snickering behind him.

"You got kicked out of class?!" Hoseok says while laughing. "Fucking idiot from what?" Jin says while laughing too. Him and Hoseok have now lost it and they're falling off the benches to the lunch table. "We were playing a game and Jimin SUCKED at it but then he finally got a point and started yelling." Taehyung said while laughing making everyone else laugh it.
"I swear everyone in our little friend group is losing it." Namjoon jokes. "You're not still mad at me are you?" Hoseok asks Namjoon. "No i was overreacting I was just worried. He did deserve to get punched though." Namjoon says while putting a hand on Hoseok shoulder. Hoseok smiles and they all continue with their conversation.
It was times like these where Jungkook gets to zone out from everything happening around him. School drama, friend drama, people going missing every day, not seeing one of his best friends for two years. Jungkook missed Yoongi a lot.
Yoongi was always nice to him and took care of him, making sure he never felt left out or uncomfortable. He was one of those people that would rather show you he cared then tell you. He still found it hard to deal with, he had to deal with one of his best friends getting kidnapped at just 14!
Not wanting to think about that anymore Jungkook tries to focus on what everyone is talking about, but couldn't help but to watch Taehyung. He was wearing the schools uniform which was a white button up shirt tucked into black dress pants. He had freshly dyed hair that Hoseok did since he dyed his hair a lot. Jungkook thought that dark brown suited him. He was laughing at some joke Jimin made and Jungkook couldn't help but to smile himself seeing Taehyung so happy.
"Jungkook can you come over tonight?" Taehyung asks interrupting his thoughts. "I'll have to ask but my dads." Jungkook answers while blushing knowing what he was just thinking about. Taehyung smiles and starts to talk to Jungkook about something else.
Everyone gave Jungkook a knowing look. Jungkook pays attention to some anime Taehyung is talking about and talks about how cool it is too. "We'll have to watch season 2 together when you come over, maybe you could sleepover!" Taehyung says excitedly. "Hey wait nothings planned yet." Jungkook says while laughing. Taehyung laughs and starts talking to Hoseok and Jin.
Jungkook wonders if Taehyung could just slightly like him back. Even if it's just a little bit he doesn't care. The way how he excitedly asks him to come over and sleepover and is always smiling when he talks to him that has to be a sign right? Jungkook doubts it. Taehyung is just always like that with basically everyone.
It really sucks being in love with your clueless best friend, especially when all your other friends secretly know too.
