Regina's POV

Mid summer after 3rd year

My name is Regina Mildred Taylor- but lets not talk about my middle name, ok? I attend the greatest wizarding school in the world, Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. If you didnt already know, when you arrive at Hogwarts you are immediately sorted into a "house". At Hogwarts there are four houses, Gryffindor, the house for the brave of heart- and the best one in my opinion, but maybe im just bias? Then theres Ravenclaw, its the house for the most intelligent and promising minds here! I dont know if thats true now though, considering the brightest witch of our generation is Hermione Granger. But I mean whos paying attention right? Then theres hufflepuff- theyre full of some of the nicest kids youll ever meet at Hogwarts. They also tend to be some of the greatest friends youll make here. Kindhearted, hardworking, and just all around good people youll definitely know a hufflepuff when you meet one, trust me. Finally, we have the slytherins. I would say that I saved the best for last, but I didnt. The only good thing to come out of slytherin was- oh I cant think of anything! Theyre cunning, manipulative, and definitely know how to get their way. 

Now dont get me wrong- half of my family was in slytherin, so I dont hate the house based on its "evil reputation". I hate it based on the fact that everyone in that house is such a stuck up git! If its not Malfoy making some bitchy comment then its my sworn enemy, Pansy Parkinson getting under my skin by making a comment about me or my friends. Now I know what your probably thinking, "Regina, dont you think thats a little dramatic to call Pansy your sworn enemy ?" And to that I say, "THAT BITCH IS EVIL AND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!" I dont even want to get into how awful she is, youll understand later on, take my word for it. 

Being born on July 6th, 1981, meant that when I started Hogwarts I was in the same grade and class as the golden trio. Even though Hermione, Harry, and Ron were probably some of my closest friends I was never really part of their group. Thats just cause I was also really good friends Nevielle, Luna, Seamus, Dean and some other Gryffinors, ravenclaws and hufflepuffs. My all time bestfriend though, was Ginny Weasley. She was a year below me but damn, she was one of the fiercest girls I had ever met! Our personalities instantly clicked, like ying and yang. She was hardheaded and loud just like me. And let me tell you, when we were hanging out together in the common room, the whole tower would know! 

Ginny was definitely a man-killer! With her gorgeous red hair, and stunning looks- Lets not forget her talents on the quidditch field either! If it wasnt for my crazy fear of heights, I mightve been out there with her too- but im definitely contempt with supporting her from the stands. Anyways- because Ginny was always being ask to go to Hogsmead with different guys for a drink at the three broom sticks, I was ALWAYS the 'tag-a-long', or the 'date for her dates friend'. I swear the things I put up with to make that girl happy. Besides I didnt know why she even bothered with all these guys when she had already told me who she already liked, Ha- I mean nevermind! What was I saying? Oh yeah! I never really understood the reason for me tagging along but hey, it was free food so who cares, right? And between You and I, I only really have eyes for one guy, but not even Ginny knows about it, I feel she'd either be upset, or make it a huge deal. I really dont need her mad at me, or embarassing me anyways so its better this way right? 

This summer break, im staying with her family in their unique home they call the burrow. Its not that I have family problems, both my parents travel for their jobs. They're some of the most respected Aurors in the business! So its better this way if I stay with the Weasleys. But getting to spend summer with Ginny isnt the only reason im excited to be staying for the summer, trust me. 

AUTHORS NOTE! IMPORTANT

This was the intro so this isnt how every chapter is going to be written, dont worry! I just really wanted to show you the type of person that the main charater is and give you a closer look. Another thing, the chapters are mainly going to be this long just because Im planning on having alot of fun with this and I dont want to put stress on myself to make really loooonnnggg chapters. But with that said, I do plan on updating a good bit so dont worry too much! Last thing- i think-  Regina is the only made up character that I plan on making right now. Im sorry if that makes you upset but the reasoning behind it is that I feel like when people make alot of madeup characters for a Harry Potter fanfiction, that it takes away from the actual story and stuff.
