While i'm still here
While i could still see
While i could still hear
My once happy days
Once filled with colors
But now, it's filled with greys
Lost opportunities; closed doors
With each day that passed,
time went by so fast
Life is too short, it seems.
Too short to follow dreams
Please remember me,
Still, i bear through pain
Asking, 'what is there to gain'?
'Is it someone i have to be'?
'Friends' come and go
Like a shadow,
They remain for a time
Like the bell's chime
They pretend
To defend
Only in the end
'Are they really your friend'?
That's why i say
Remember me,
Because i can't stay
I'm sure you'll agree
Everything dies
In the sad truth
Through the decieving lies
Everyone dies...
Though times are tough,
Find time to laugh
Because life isn't hard
No matter how scarred
No matter how deep
Even without sleep
Even if the road is steep.
Here, are words to keep
